Dr. Mark Charles Vlasak, MD

Dr Vlasak is an EXCELLENT doctor. Have been seeing him for many many years. Very caring, friendly, knows his stuff and works with you. Most of is staff is great, But one staff member in particular is horrible..Janet. Called in to cancel appt and explain why and she started to talk over me, would not let me talk, was very rude, disrespectful, condesending, and VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!! I had to raise my voice and ask her would she please let me talk, but that was a waste of my breath. She then proceeded to tell me '' Well apparently you don't need a doctor!!" I NEVER said that. SERIOUSLY??!! SHAME ON HER!!! Then told me she would have Dr Vlasak call me, said good bye and hung up on me. How she behaved was totally uncalled for. It was NOT her place to do what she did or say. What she should have done was say "ok, I understand but let me interupt you and say I really am not at liberty to discuss your issue with you, I only know what our records tell me. I can inform Dr Vlasak what our… computer says, what you said and are asking and what I can do is relay a message to the dr and have Dr Vlasak call you and he can discuss the issue with you further." Apparently she didn't give him the message as I am still waiting for him to call !!!

I started seeing Dr. Vlasak more than 13 yrs ago. My husband was his patient as well. Dr. Vlasak was the first to diagnose a very aggressive leukemia in my husband. He had only been sick weeks when it was found. My husband lost his battle, though not to the fault of any drs. It was just a very unsurvivable cancer. I have continued seeing him for my many complicated medical issues. He is compassionate, takes lots of time with his patients, and truly cares. His staff are all also amazing. I love every single one of them. I don’t know what I would do without this healthcare team!

Male NP was arrogant and not helpful. No knowledge about hormone balancing. Then when blood test showed hormone imbalance I was refused referral to endocrinologist even though my testosterone level was extremely low and estrogen was extremely high. On initial visit male NP was trying to give me instead referrals to other doctors before blood tests results even returned. Major red flag. Nurse suggested I stay off internet like they are afraid you might learn something. Very nonsensical. Also, during initial visit Doctor Vlasak would not even speak to me. Based on attitudes I experienced will never go back and would not recommend.

Have been to Mark for over 22 years and always takes time to explain and review symptoms and review previous or prescribed medications. Mark has found small issues and addressed very early on to prevent down the road complications. Great Dr. and Good Christian man.

Dr V was great. He explained the things he was doing, expectations for a person my age, and overall was very informative.

EXCEPTIONAL DIAGNOSTICIAN NOT TO MENTION JUST A REAL GREAT GUY.

Excellent care & very knowledgeable physician. Highly recommend to anyone needing specialized or general care.

Dr. V. will spend as much time as needed and address any concerns you have with patience and thoroughness. As a self-pay patient, he finds options for me that work. I recommend highly recommend him and his wonderful staff.

Dr. V. is amazing. He is always willing to sit down and explain each part of the exam and never fails to help explain drug prescriptions. Best doctor I ever had.

Not only does he have excellent bedside manner he actually enjoys his work to no end! It actually excites me when he finds he missing piece to the puzzle of my health. His staff are just like him - kind, nice and caring. I have been referred to other internists and none hold a candle to Mark Vlasak.
