Dr. Mary Lynne Lucido, MD

If I could give her zero stars, I would. went to her for 2 years and she misdiagnosed me from the start. Had to endure 3 emergency visits. I never saw her as she's too busy doing her assembly line scans and surgeries. Only saw her assistant, Emily. Worst gastro ever. She's only after that procedure money. Is never in her office seeing patients.

Did not send results to pcp after multiple calls from my pcp. Rude bedside manner, 30 minutes late for the procedure.

I have been going to this doctor for over 6 mos. was constantly told I have ibs and than sibo. Finally I was in so much pain I went to the e/r and fou dout I had an appendix issue and had an appendectomy after I already paid for one cat scan which their office did not find anything. She does not offer any suggestions for ibs other than medicine and it doesn't work. Don't waste your money on dr. Lucido

My 80 year old Mom went to Lee's Summit Hospital for a colonoscopy because she was having symptoms. Dr. Lucido performed the test and found a large cancerous tumor. She was extremely compassionate and patient with my Mom and our entire family, explaining the options and treatments. She helped us find an excellent surgeon, Dr. Mutchnik, who performed a successful colon resection the next day. Within a couple weeks Mom fully recovered from her colon surgery and a year later, Mom is doing great! I would recommend Dr. Lucido for her accurate diagnosis, prompt help, and caring bedside manner.

Don't bother going to see this doctor! I waited almost 2 months for an appointment to see if I have Celiac's Disease (I have a family history and all the symptoms). I had discussed this possible diagnosis when making the appointment and was assured that Dr. Lucido diagnoses and works with Celiac patients all the time. She spent 10 minutes with me, told me that Celiac's was all media hype and patients don't get diagnosed with it at my age (mid 30s). She told me to stop eating vegetables and that I could have a endoscopy "if I wanted one." What kind of doctor has this kind of attitude? A bad one. For this advise, I was charged $200. If you think you might be gluten-intolerant or allergic, just stop eating gluten to see how you feel. I have and feel so much better - no thanks to Dr. Lucido!
