Dr. Matthew C Farrugia, DO

Dr. Farrugia has a wonderful bedside manner and did a wonderful job on my sinus surgery and Rhinaer procedure. I would highly recommend him to anyone. I have been to many ENT doctors over my lifetime and will never go to another.

Would not recommend.

-The Dr was OK. (Based on my only visit with him which was at another office a few weeks earlier.) -The Audiologist was very nice. -However the woman who answers the phone at the Novi clinic and the blonde woman who’s a tech there were quite rude and lacked compassion and empathy for me as a patient in their care. My situation is that I arrived 13 mins late, then waited 20 minutes in the waiting room. Then the audiologist came to get me and did some tests which were completed within 20mins. I was then told to sit in a very sunny area and wait for the doctor to go over results (which were already briefly discussed with the audiologist and that everything looked good). I then waited over 40 minutes to see and speak with the doctor when I got an emergency call from a family member. I needed to leave so I opened my door and looked for a staff member to inform of my situation. I didn’t see anyone so I headed for check out. I saw everyone there was on the phone so i left the building… with the intention to call them and communicate what happened ASAP. When I called and informed them of what happened and to request my results via email (approximately 10 minutes after I left their office), the receptionist immediately put me on hold. She then told me the only way I could get my results was to pay them a $25 no show fee since I left during my appointment. I asked for a copy of a contract that shows my signature agreeing to such a harsh fee. The receptionist told me they don’t have secure email so she’s going to mail it to me soon. ???? - I do not recommend going here as I don’t feel they put patients first and are bitter individuals. You can find better elsewhere!

I have a twice a year maintenance program from a cholesteatoma surgery from another Dr. Dr Farrugia took a very difficult situation for me and made it comfortably managable. I can't thank him enough. Would recommend him to anybody!

This doctor is an egotistical maniac. negligent in diagnosis I had a major ear infection that traveled to my throat. Doctor Farrugia was arrogant and could of caused me a serious infection causing an abscess and surgery by not prescribing an antibiotic. I had to leave and see another doctor that put me on a 10 day heavy antibiotic and also found a pool of blood under my ear drum. Terrible man that is negligent and arrogant to the core. As I noticed he was wrong and won't help I got up and left the visit as he chased me down the hallway saying I'm no longer welcome at the practice with that said the medical board would review this as unprofessional conduct for any doctor.

He is super locked in to any problem you may have. Top notch doctor period. Had Septoplasty/Nasal spur removed, and Ballon sinusplasty done. Thank you Dr. Farrugia, for helping change my life!!

I am not one to speak poorly of others or judge people I don't know. I don't know if this doctor was having a bad day, but I left the office in tears. I've never been treated so rudely, and felt so disrespected. I am sure he is really smart and knows what he is doing but my experience with him was sadly very negative. I would avoid going to him if you can.

Called in the morning, got in that very afternoon. Nice office space, friendly desk staff. Dr. Farrugia was great! He took plenty of time to discuss my issue (did not have that "rushed" attitude that so many doctors have), resolved the problem, and followed up with an email.Highly recommended.
