Dr. Matthew Edward Masters JR., MD

Dr. Masters is very educated in his field and I feel that he treats patients as a whole. He has many years of experience, which is great but can cause some doctors to get stuck on practices of the past. Not Dr. Masters. He stays up to date so patients receive the best care possible. I feel that he treats me as a unique individual and not just another patient. I truly feel that he is invested in me and my progress. I hope he continues to practice for a long, long time because doctors like this are very hard to find.

He was beyond unprofessional and in his own little world. This man has no business giving people mind altering medications.

All he does is sit at his laptop and take notes, asking you the same questions he's already asked before- being completely silent while typing and staring down his nose at the screen. It's extremely awkward. The last 5 minutes of the session, he will finally talk to you one-on-one, but it is only with a condescending attitude reminiscent of Dr. Phil to tell you what he thinks is wrong with you. There is no care or concern in his voice, and he will not listen to you if you attempt to actually communicate with him like a human. I've had more guidance reading support forms online than I ever received from him. He does absolutely nothing except boost his own ego. Don't go here!

Really concerned about the outcome and always helpful.

Completely rude. I scheduled an appointment with him a week and a half out, on day of my apt something came up at work and I knew I'd be late. So I called his office (I don't know if it was him who answered or a receptionist as they only said "hello"?) that morning and notified them I'd be about 15 or 20 min late. They said ok. Well, after arriving at the address and finally finding his office (it'd be helpful if his name was on the directory sign downstairs) I sit down in waiting room and he appears to tell me sorry, he can't treat anyone who shows up 30 min late to a 1 hour first apt. I explained to him how I had called to give fair warning for which he said nothing. He was less interested in my health and more interested in his next appointment which he obviously scheduled 30 min after mine bc I saw them downstairs wandering around looking for his office. I gave them directions, which I wished sometime had given me, and warned them of his less than friendly manner. I know I was in… the wrong for being late but if you're going to dismiss me before our first appointment for being late which you were aware of, at least tell me on the phone that tardiness equals automatic turn away or let me reschedule. But after actually meeting him in person, I would decline a reschedule solely based on his condescending attitude and his office management practices (or lack thereof).
