Dr. Matthew Zinno, DO

Visited Dr. Zinno for an injury to my left shoulder that occurred at the gym. He came into the room after my Xray, smiled, turned the computer screen toward me and said, "you need shoulder replacement surgery". My pain level at the time was zero. Dr. Zinno may be a good surgeon, but may not recommend what is best for his patients. I would not recommend Dr. Zinno to anyone. Use your own common sense, and get a second opinion, I did and I am happy I did not allow Dr. Zinno to operate on me.

I was very disappointed with Dr. Zinno. He came to the room, didn't introduce himself or say hi to me as a first time patient. He just said,''your MRI is fine no surgery for the knee''. Which I knew the MRI is fine. (He didn't order the MRI) I had this problem for a year now. I saw many doctors for it. that's why I was sent to him ''a surgeon'' to see what is going on. He didn't EXAM my foot/knee. He didn't even look at it. He wouldn't suggest anything, he kept saying I don't know but you don't need a surgery for the knee. He didnt even mention the foot. Simply, he relied on MRI results from a YEAR ago. Without trying to see if there is changes: swollen, redness on the skin etc.. That's what is called MALPRACTICE.

I would highly recommend Dr Zinno. He was very professional, answered all of my questions and concerns, informative, and have a treatment plan for my condition (physical therapy, topical pain cream from the Apothacary, and injections for the knee, and surgery will be last resort.

Dr Zinno is a wonderful doctor. Very encouraging and empathetic. He has excellent skills and is very knowledgeable. He is a caring doctor. I can’t say enough good things about him. I wish all doctors were like him.

This doctor is not interested in his patients. He has his assistant to the work and if he can get away with it wont actually even bother seeing you.

Saw Dr. Zinno for a 2nd opinion after seeing an ortho surgeon 4 years ago (who made me wait 2 1/2 hours and who recommended 2 immediate shoulder replacements.) Dr Zinno has kept me playing golf 3-4 times a week with occasional cortisone shots and a little therapy ever since. When I need those shoulders replaced, I will certainly be going to Dr. Zinno.

Dr. Zinno was outstanding throughout the whole process. He answered any and all questions I had, explained to me clearly what the procedure would accomplish, and checked up to make sure I was doing well afterwards. Great guy, I would recommend him to anyone.
