Dr. Max Chorowski, MD

I have been seeing Dr. Chorowski for over 15 years he is a wonderful doctor and he listens to you. He always sits down with you after every appointment asking about physical health but also mental health. He is very thorough follows up on any medical issues. If you have a problem he sees you right away not months later. I feel very fortunate to have him for my doctor.

Dr. Chorowski is understanding and easy to talk to. He genuinely cares for his patients. I am very grateful to Dr. Chorowski and I would highly recommend him.

I've been seeing Dr. Chorowski for 4+ years for counseling/psychiatry, and he is the only psychiatrist that I've seen for more than a year as I've had a great experience with him. He is very flexible to his client's needs, if you tell him there is a certain aspect of your life that you want to focus on, he will work with you on that. Dr. C is respectful and helpful and I trust him. I would highly recommend him to anyone. Again, Dr. Chorowski is fantastic, I followed him from his Longmeadow practice to his current practice at Mercy in Springfield. The quality of his care and professionalism hasn't changed.

I consider myself very fortunate to have Dr. Chorowski as my doctor. In the twenty year I've been a patient of his I've been astonished with his and the staff's compassionate and knowledgeable care. His background in preventative care gives me comfort knowing that my health is being monitored. I’ve seen Dr Chorowski for about 10 yrs and have been very happy with his kind professionalism, endless patience and how informative he is on every question I’ve posed to him. He has a high level of empathy and kindness with a dry sense of humor. I’ve never had to wait more than a few minutes to see him and I never feel rushed when I have questions. His office staff have always greeted me by name even if it’s been months since I was last in for an appointment. I feel fortunate to call him my doctor.

Dr Chorowski is always professional and knowledgable and a doc I’ve trusted with my care for over two decades. His kindness and patience helped me feel comfortable. I also learned a lot from his published articles on women’s healthcare and menopause care.

Dr. Chorowski is the only provider in 3 decades who has created a medication regimen that has regulated my moods, stabilized my highs and lows and I would be lost without him. He explains all of the medications in detail, including dosages, side effects and duration of treatment. He listens to the patient and what their concerns are, what they are experiencing and makes adjustments accordingly. His staff are pleasant and I enjoy my visits with him. I will be devastated if he retires, because no doctor has ever been able to stabilize my moods and no doctor actually listens to my concerns and responds. He is an amazing provider.

I was a patient for 3 visits for a full gyn evaluation on medications and menopausal symptoms. The front office staff were very good. The ultrasound tech was unfriendly and never introduced herself or knocked on the door when entering the ultrasound room. As a nurse for 30 years, I was appalled at this.

Dr. Chorowski and his team of professionals have great knowledge for women in or approaching menopause. I like the fact that they offer options that are more natural. I didn't want to take prescription hormones and I was offered bio-identical hormones as a natural alternative. They also offered other services like breast thermography which was totally painless and there was no radiation! I highly recommend him and his colleagues.
