Dr. Melecio Fortuno Apostol, MD

Dr. Apostol takes the time to listen to his patients and ask questions to help him better ascertain a diagnosis. He is friendly and personable and displays a genuine care for his patients. I highly recommend him to anyone who needs a pediatric physician. His staff is very helpful, knowledgeable, and professional.

Dr. A is very cordial, listens to you as a patent and most importantly he listens to the child, his facilities are always nice and clean, his staff are quite helpful and add cheer and humor to the office, not to mention he is also bilingual. Dr. A has been practicing in Rockport for 13 years that I personally know of. Thanks Dr. Apostle and keep up the great job! ð???ð???

The doctor is very caring with children and a good doctor. But the staff is the major problem they just sit there and talk it gets on my nerves! The only good nurse is a skinny one there but the rest are lazy! They made us wait about an hour at the waiting room when we had other places to be. I cant stand it! But the doctor is ok

I like Dr. Apostol; it is his staff that is the issue. I first had problems with them when I went for an appointment, and was told I owed them $800. Of course that was a mistake that the doctor took care of. I went to visit him recently, and after waiting almost an hour I was told I would not be seen because my insurance wasn't paying their claims. I called my insurance to find out that they were rebilling for the same visits, and billing the wrong insurance company. I told the ladies up front and asked for the doctor to call me so we could get this sorted out, and no call. They are rude, short, and don't care about the clients. Not to mention I had an appointment, and they were seeing walk-ins before me. I will not go back there, its worse than the Childrens Clinic in Portland!

I have a 6 week old. Long story short she was having an allergic reaction to the medication she was proscribed for her Thrush. When I called to get her seen right away (6 weeks old and newborns should be first priority always) they told me he was too "busy". I took her to driscol and asked his staff to have him called me. I received NO call back. I called him on his answering service for another question with a breathing issue and I never received a phone call back. So hes an ok doctor for check ups but if you have an emergency, don't bother calling because he'll be too busy to give you the time of day. Either that or their staff sucks and transferring messages. I switched doctors.

Love this Dr. used him for 5 1/2 years now and have no plans on leaving!

Dr Apostle is a very good doctor/pediatrician. He cares and takes his time. Very calm and gentle with kids.

I have taken both of my children to Dr. Apostol for 3 years now. With the exception of one nurse all of his staff is great, the doctor is very caring about my kids and is great at making a nervous child (and parent!) feel at ease. When we had my son in 6 times in the matter of 4 weeks he took great care of him, followed up and taught him how to use an inhaler. Very patient!There is a "sick room" and a "well room" waiting areas which I think is great. For the ones for a routine checkup or immunizations you're not exposing your children to the coughs and sneezes of the ill patients.Overall I really like him and his staff.

Mr. Apostol is a great doctor. He is fast to get with you and seems to care a lot about his patients.
