Dr. Merna Karen R Matilsky, MD

I see Shoshanna at Dr. Morris and Matilsky. Smooth sailing for years until 6 months or so ago. There is a new office assistant that works there that consistently confuses my name and also cannot get a referral issued to save her soul. I have corrected her numerous times many in the same conversation. When you correct her she becomes belligerent and hangs up on you. This office used to be great but lately they act like they are doing you a favor and if they can’t even get your name straight, how can you possibly get a correct referral? I wonder what else are they confusing? Please avoid this office if you care about your health.

I went to see this doctor about 8 months ago and she put me on thyroid medication and tried to give me a prescription for medical marijuana. The visit was for hormone replacement therapy which I decided to discontinue doing as I gained 37 pounds from biote hormone pellets and the progesterone they put me on. Dr. Matilskys office charged me about $500 dollars for my visit for the outrageously expensive hormone pills ( I did not even do the hormone pellets and it still cost this much) and the visit. I just called today because my other primary care doctor has recently disconnected his phone out of no where. I called and said how much would a visit be if I were paying cash as I am currently applying for disability and I am uninsured. The rude woman that answered the phone said it is $300 dollars an hour. I said I just want to refill my thyroid medication that she put me on and I would have to pay her $300 an hour to get a refill??? The woman in a nasty tone of voice said yep! Then I said… ok well I’ll be giving you a bad review. This office is all about money and pushing expensive useless treatments and medical marijuana licenses. Beware and don’t get stuck like I am and now I cannot even get a very important medication refilled. Just stay away from this practice and it’s evil front desk staff!

I had a wonderful first visit with Dr. Matilsky. It was easy to see that she cares about her patients. I would recommend her to everyone!

Dr. Matilsky respects her patients enough to listen wholeheartedly, then answer their questions, and answer questions they didn't even know they had. All of this to maintain her charges at the highest level of health they are willing to invest themselves in.

Dr. Matilsky is an excellent match for me and my health trials and tribulations. I have lost a lot of weight and gained strength back comparable to what I had as a young man thanks to her medical advice and guidance. She is tops in my book!
