My life literally was on hold for nine years. My hip pain was so bad I had to quit a job I loved and tried other jobs. I went from a job on my feet, to a job that was mixed, to a sitting job, to home and ended up where my daughter took care of me. I have seen multiple hip specialists who had there own opinions of what caused the pain and theories of what to do. None of which convinced me for sure. As soon as I had an an appt. With Dr. Ellman I knew he was the right doctor for me. He explains his findings, gave me time to ask questions, knows exactly where and why I had pain. We decided together to have a hip arthroscopy surgery. He gave me a packet to prepare for the surgery, explain what it is, and aftercare instructions. He is the most thorough doctor I had in a while. He gave me pictures of my surgery and explained what I was looking at. They make sure you are still doing okay after a month goes by. He is very well respected and earns it with everything he does.

Dr. Ellman and his entire team are wonderful. The entire process from my first appt through surgery and recovery has been great. He was thorough and left me with no questions about the procedure or recovery. I traveled to Denver from Anchorage, AK, specifically to receive Dr. Ellman’s care as he was highly recommended, and he did not disappoint. My recovery has been a breeze and I know I will be back to running stronger than before, and most importantly pain free! I highly recommend Dr. Ellman.

Dr Ellman and his team took time to comprehensively evaluate my symptoms resulting in a successful diagnosis then provided treatment options allowing me to move forward with a plan. His team was welcoming, thorough, and efficient. Dr Ellman was approachable and knowledgeable.

Dr. Ellman was the FIRST doctor to provide me some in-depth and insightful information after seeing multiple other sources for years of hip pain. He was very straightforward and had great humor. Dr. Ellman is simply the best surgeon for hip arthroscopy and or PAO (Ganz) surgery with both Drs Ellman and Hugate. I am recovering very well with minimal pain. My surgical incisions are small and healing really well. I knew I was in good hands from start to finish. Thank you Dr. Ellman for a very positive experience and outcome! Thanks to both Dr. Ellman and Dr. Hugate for an excellent outcome with my daughter’s PAO after 2 failed scopes with another practice.

Most of my contact or surgery was with Dr Ellman's PA, Barbara. This team correctly diagnosed a long term condition that has been misdiagnosed or dismissed by several other doctors. The surgery was on time and the recovery seems to be on track for a full recovery. Barring any longer term surprises, 5/5 for Dr Ellman and his team.

Dr Ellman is very professional, experienced, and friendly. When I came to him with hip pain, he didn’t jump to doing surgery. We tried other methods to see if it would help. I ended up having a hip labral tear and had Dr Ellman repair it. He did an amazing job. I definitely would recommend him to everyone for this issue.
