Dr. Michael Eric Balkovich, MD

Made an appointment to see Dr. He recommended surgery on my wrists. He had staff send a referral for an EMG. Staff was to call me the next day. No phone called returned for the EKG and I called twice to follow up. No phone call back until 10 days later. A different person called and gave me the name of the place the referral was sent. I called to make an appointment an was told there was not a referral and never heard of the referring doctor. I called back and told the person who called me that there was not any referral sent. She has not called me back. Another problem: Dr Balkovich operated on my finger 2 years ago and it has reduced flexability and strength. He blamed physical therapy. I made a call to another hand clinic. I believe he didn't want to work on my wrists and the possible botched surgery on my finger.

Dr. Balkovich never remembered anything about my injury despite going there 5 times in 3 months. He spent most of each subsequent visits getting reacquianted with my chart and not actually providing any care. I scrapped going further because I was feeling nickel and dimed for barely any benefit. Also, the doctor didn't seem to take COVID protocols very seriously which is just ridiculous.

Dr. BALKOVICH did a great job of removing an arthritic bone from my wrist to resolve my extremely painful thumb! It has been almost a year now and I have great range of motion and strength. He explained things very well every step of treatment. I highly recommend his service. Kudos to Dr. BALKOVICH!

dealing with my bill with this doctor has been the biggest hassle i have ever dealt with in my life. they want to squeeze every last penny out of you. i was overcharged twice, and was treated poorly by the billing department. they made an appointment to go over x-rays, couldn't find them, and then charged me with the appointment anyways. HORRIBLE! Do not waste your time with this doctor.
