Dr. Michael Kenneth Bohrer, MD

Avoid Dr. Bohrer at all costs!!!!!!! A month ago, I almost died because of the surgery which he performed 4 years ago! He had removed one fallopian tube, and the other one he stitched instead of removing. As a result, the liquid was accumulating and haven’t have outlet. I was like a ticking bomb until a month ago. I end up in ER, where they had to perform emergency surgery to save my life. The tube was swollen (usually the size of finger, mine was the size of thick thighs), and twisted which blocked blood circulation. They had to remove my ovary and tube. I’m happy to be alive, but if he would remove the tube 4 years ago, I wouldn’t have to go throughout this nightmare and still have ovary and a chance for more children!!!!

Dr. Bohrer is the best there is. It makes sense as to why he is the director of reproductive surgery at RMA. He recently performed a hysteroscopy myomectomy and polyp removal and the whole experience was very pleasant. If you are having surgery, he is the one to go to.

I wish all doctors were as patient, caring, and thorough as Dr. Bohrer. He took the time to explain every thing that was going on with me, every aspect of the surgery (he even drew pictures!), and always answered all questions in plain english. At no point did I ever feel rushed, and his happy personality is just infectious! I wish I could have him as my everyday OB/GYN - I was sad to say goodbye to him after I had my procedure.

I understand that it is very difficult to come to a message board with all kinds of reviews from people who I wonder about and come away with the exact opinion I need to make. However, as a 35 year old woman I can tell you with some life experience and about half a mind that Dr. Bohrer is a surgeon who is a highly talented, skilled, professional qualified to women's specific needs! Dr. Bohrer set aside an entire day to focus on only my operation of my uterine fibroids. Unbelievably, I am healing very well and my body gets better every single day. I realize that this is due to skill of a fantastic surgeon. He is accessible when you have ANY questions or just want to know you will be OK. Surgery hurts, but Dr. Bohrer will give you back your life, peace of mind and your healthy body. I was lucky to get this surgeon.

All the Doctors at RMA were great. We have a healthy little boy thanks to them and Dr. Bohrer.

He is a very kind doctor. Spends lots of time explaining.Tries to answer all your questions. Tries to make the patient comfortable during the visits. RMA NJ visits are pretty much painless if he is the Dr. performing the procedure.

I have been his patient for almost 20 years and he is the most caring doctor I have ever been to. He has a lot of experience and always seems to be right in his diagnosis. I would definitely recommend him.

Dr. Bohrer is the best doctor at RMA - he has the greatest bedside manners and is very caring. Its easy to talk to him about what we are going through and he's very kind - too nice, which is rare in finding in doctors. Highly recommend him!
