If I could leave a zero review I would. Correction to previous post. This doctor never questioned abnormal labs when they began in 2013. NOT UNTIL 2019. In 2021 I was diagnosed with a serious irreversible lifelong disease, stage 4 compensated NASH-Cirrhosis of the liver due to high cholesterol and triglycerides. Now me and my Hepatologist are trying to stop the disease from progressing to the final stage. This could have been avoided if actions were taken sooner. Like in 2013!!! You rely in your doctors to know what they’re doing and sit down with you if something needs to change. To look deeper if labs don’t seem right. He failed me in a huge way and now I’m the one suffering for it. Get a second opinion on ALL your tests and or labs!

You reply in your doctors to know what they’re doing and sit down with you if something needs to change. To look deeper if these don’t seem right. He failed me in a huge way and now I’m the one suffering for it.

THIS DOCTOR WOULD NOT LISTEN TO WHAT I HAD TO SAY.HAD TERRIBLE LOWER BACK PAIN, REQUESTED A MRI AND TOTALLY REFUSED. WOULD NOT LOOK UP PAST MEDICAL RECORDS OF PREVIOUS BACK ISSUES. PRESCRIBED ME PILLS THAT MADE MY BLOOD SUGAR TO SKYROCKET. TWO DAYS LATER WENT DOWN AT HOME HAVING TO CALL 911. ENDED UP HAVING TO HAVE TWO SURGERIES ON MY SPINE WHICH SHOULD HAVE BEEN AVOIDED. IF YOU HAVE ANY MAJOR ISSUES I WOULD STEER CLEAR OF THIS GUY.IF YOU NEED YOUR BLOOD PRESSURE CHECKED, HE'S YOUR MAN.

Dr Michael DuPont is a true professional in every aspect. Mannerism to knowledge of his craft. He spends time with you to find out what us aliening you. Listens, exams you and works on a cure for you. He does not make you feel rushed. When he is very busy, I think the longest our family waited in the exam room was 6 minutes! If you want the best of the best family practice doctor around, it is Dr. Du Pont.

Dupont misdiagnosed 3 conditons: he told me I had osteoporosis, but the report indicated osteopenia, which was verified by a specialist. When asked to clarify his diagnosis, he refused. He later said my hypoglycemic episodes were nothing to worry about, that I was in no danger of diabetes. In fact, I was prediabetic and didn't know it. Five years later I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. It may have been preventable if I'd been warned about my risk factors.During my first visit, DuPont also refused to prescribe a maintenance drug I'd been taking for 25 years, despite the fact that I was in danger of becoming quite ill and perhaps dying without it. The other Dr in the practice had prescribed it for me, and an allergist indicated that this drug was necessary. I ended up in the ER the next day and when I told the ER doc that DuPont had refused to prescibe the medication necessary, he was livid and said DuPont had no business practicing medicine. This man is arrogant and ignorant and an… example of a terrible physician.

Dr. Dupont has been our family physician for many years. I have alway found him to be through in his examinations, takes the time to listen to any questions that I might have and appreciate his openness.

He is very helpful and knows how to treat a problem. He will prescribe the correct medicine and treat any problem he can right there in his office.

This physician is as skilled at dealing with patients as he is at resolving their medical problems. My family would recommend him with great enthusiasm.
