Dr. Michael Frazier Fomby, DO

Very satisfied with my visit went over all areas during my annual check-up. Made suggestions on vaccinations that I may need and allowed me to make the decision on should I take them or not.

I was very disappointed with the care I received during my annual visit. Dr Fomby did not make eye contact and seemed more interested in my chart, medication regimen, labs and vital signs. When he did perform my "physical" he did not have me change into a gown - he listened to my heart, lungs, and abdomen through my clothes and checked my ankles for edema through my boots. I am a healthcare provider and this does not meet standards of practice, When I asked if he was going to do a breast exam he explained that I should see a nurse practitioner for that type of exam. I am in my mid-sixties and expected a more critical assessment than what he could see in my labs. No mention of healthy lifestyle practices or patient education. He basically told me my vitals, and labs showed I was healthy and continue my current medications - waste of time except for getting prescriptions refilled.

Dr. Fomby spent about 10 minutes discussing lab results. I remained fully clothed throughout, and no physical exam was done. Lab forgot to obtain urine sample. Obviously there was no prostate exam and no discussion of PSA level. I will not have another physical exam at this facility since it was a total waste of time and money.
