Dr. Michael Alan Manbeck, MD

If I could give him zero stars l would! After a colonoscopy done by Manbeck he said I was fine even though I went in for anal bleeding. A couple days after the colonoscopy l filled up a toilet with bright red blood and went into the ER the next day I called his office and his rude receptionist AMANDA said so what and said a bunch of mean and horrible things to me and never returned any of my phone calls to manbeck. After having complained to the office manager Manbeck called me personally from his cell phone and said I would never get health care again in Indiana. Manbeck and his staff are truly the most inconsiderate people I've ever encountered he should not be practicing medicine. DO NOT GO TO HIM!

Dr. Manbeck has solved several issues for me I trust him and he's very nice and has always had good follow up.

Dr. Manbeck did two upper endoscopies on me last year. He was gentle and very personable. My husband and I were quite impressed with him. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Manbeck provided services for my mother's colonoscopy and he was terrific. He was informed and experienced and answered all of my mother's questions and concerns. Highly recommended!

Manbeck is good at what he does. However, he does not spend the needed time with you to find out all of your symptoms. Less patients per day and a few more minutes with them would make him excellent. His staff seems to be to much in a hurry, does not double check on phone numbers. (got mine wrong) Once your in they want to rush you out. The staff failed to listen to my symptoms and as a result I had minor complications that could have been avoided if they would have taken the right amount of time. Overall, the care was very good, but could have been better.

Dr Manbeck was called in to the hospital to assist with care for my grandmother, he was extremely rude to the whole family including the patient. He had no personality except to be rude and has no compassion. As a nurse , I know the struggles of communication between doctors and patients . This doctor I wouldnt send my dog to! He was not willing to help a very scared 84 year old patient and a concerned and overwhelmed family. I would like to see how he responds to a doctor who treated his very ill and dear family member as he did ours????

One of the worst doctors I have ever been too! His bedside manner was horrible, he was very pompous and blew me off until I had lost so much weight I was about to have to get IV nutrition. He diagnosed me wrong and made me go through painful unnecessary test, when I finally got an accurate diagnoses he gave me the impression my chronic illness was no big deal. The secretary Amanda is just about as bad as him Do not go to him!!

I like getting in and out of doctors' offices and he is good at what he does. Dr. Manbeck figures out what is wrong, treats it and lets you get on with your life. A-1 in my book!
