A great guy, and a great surgeon, his office staff, and surgical team are the very best.

I've gone to Dr. Mastrangelo for 3 colonoscopies and an endoscopy. He is a wonderful, caring man with great bedside manner and a wonderful sense of humor. I highly recommend him!

I am closing in on 60, and have incurred 2 extreme abdominal hernias, and 2 groin hernias. At my age, I am trying to find the best surgeon, one that will give me the me highest chance of surviving a 6-7 hour surgery. Not only did Dr. Masterangolo fill this position, additionally he was the perfect balance, an exceptional professional applying his knowledge and skills to return me to my good health prior to these injuries, he also displayed the bedside manner of a caring, and kind man, what we always pray for when putting our lives in the hands of another person. While performing the first half of the surgery, which was the lower hernias (est. 1 1/2 hours), he discovered a great deal more than anticipated, requiring him to perform close to 4 hours of complicated surgery. He is one of the few surgeons in the area, to use a device that keeps the wound free of air, which reduces the possibility of infection from approximately 12-15% to an amazing 1 1/2 to 2%. His office staff is… great, and Whitney (his nurse), is not only sweet, and very kind, she is also extremely knowledgable! I wrote this review, in the hopes that I might be able to help others, that find themselves in the same position as I was in. Having found that I required a complicated surgery, I didn't know any doctor's that were both highly skilled in this type of surgery, and possessed a deep personal desire to help people regain their health. You know, a doctor that really does care, and is really good at what he does! Dr. Masterangolo truly is that doctor we all hope for, when our life dependes on it. I have the second half of my surgery to be completed, and have no doubt, or stress concerning the outcome.

I have never been more comfortable with getting procedures completed than I have with Dr Mastrangelo, and his professional and competent staff of Whitney and Alyssa.

Dr. Mastrangelo has a caring and very thorough approach. He took time to listen to my concerns and to help me understand all of the options available and helped me choose the right one for me. His staff is amazing.

this surgeon is in it for the money . he does not care about his patients. when I was in the waiting room five minutes in room waiting one hour both times I was there.when I had surgery he had no care of me at all or after , your just a number -- beware , those other reviews are his office .. so sad a doctor treats his patients with such disrespect I'm a male and normaiy don't even see doctors this is why

Dr. Mastrangelo has a excellent bedside matter that changes quickly when you have to confront him on an issue. I am a liver transplant recipient with a compromised immune system who seen him with an infection from a previous surgery done in MN.. After his surgery on infected wound site nobody could find the culture of the infected site to determine what the infection was caused from and what antibiotics to use . After I filed an official complaint with hospital the investigation showed the culture was never taken. The hospital assured me that this was his responsibility. This ended up not good for me as I had to fly to Mn and have another surgery to correct the problem.
