Dr. Michael Neal Wilkin, MD

Seems to me he does not want to get to the point and wants to do test that has nothing to do with what is needed. some test i be believe is needed but not everything he wanting to do and with that is all for the money for him not the patient.

Dr. Wilkin and his staff have provided the medical expertise and services I have needed. I prefer a doctor who has a scientist mind-set. Someone who sticks with the problem until he figures it out. He listens and addresses my concerns as well. I am a member of the “older generation” and have been treated respectfully. There has been no patronizing, impatience or dismissiveness. Dr. Wilkin’s office is part of a larger facility of urologic care which has been beneficial to me: x-ray department, ctscan, lab, etc. It is so much better to have tests in one location. The reasons are obvious. I think that is one reason Dr. Wilkin and his staff are so efficient and provide timely care-they are surrounded by diagnostic support. I will mention another issue that is important to me: accessibility. Dr. Wilkin and his staff are accessible. I have never been told when calling re an infection that the earliest appointment available is a week out or longer, or try an urgent care. Just… saying! I know that not everyone likes the same kind of tea, but for this teacher who has taught children since the dinosaurs roamed the earth, Dr. Wilkin has provided me with a cup of comfort and a pound of cure.

Not thorough, too little time spent with patient. Very quick to just write prescription and get you out the door. Calls his nurse "sweet cheeks", that's very inappropriate.

If you are referred to this Dr, please seek another one. He didn't listen, he wanted to perform procedure that I was not comfortable with and got angry when I told him no I would not like to have this procedure done.

The ease of getting the appointment was a little slow but worked out great. He was very nice and understood what he was doing at all times. He was always making sure I was okay and doing well before I was released each appointment.

I'm not going to go on a rant or anything. I think it is bad enough I have to get online and review a crappy doctor. I never do reviews, ever. So trust me, I'm on here doing one and these guys can't return a simple phone call, just to schedule a basic task. My doctor's office didn't get it, my insurance didn't either, SKIP THIS PLACE!! It could even save your life!!

Was referred to this Dr by another Dr. and had to return to him twice for lab work. Never found the cause of the problem, though it still exist four months after the final visit.
