Dr. Michelle Fay Albovias, MD

I find it hard to recommend this gynecologist due to her dismissive and unprofessional demeanor. During my visit, I sought a nonhormonal IUD after seven years on hormonal birth control. Despite expressing concerns about hormonal methods, she dismissed my reasons as myths and provided misleading information about their long-term effects. I clearly preferred a nonhormonal IUD, but she persistently pushed the a hormonal option that was only FDA-approved since 2016. She insisted on its safety despite its limited history and condescended when I stood firm on my choice, implying it would lead to more cramping and bleeding. This attitude made me feel belittled and unsupported. Additionally, her lack of respect was evident when she carelessly tossed a pad onto my belongings instead of handing it to me properly. Overall, her unprofessionalism and disregard for patient concerns make it difficult for me to recommend her services.

There was neglect from Dr. Albovias to achieve an objective standard of care. I had severe cramps from taking her medicine for 2 months. Second the nurse altitude when she returned the doctor calls . This is a uncaring doctor she represent non of rush values

The Doctor Ablovias was my doctor from 2010 to 2016. She gave birth to my first baby and I would have staid with her if she didn't change of hospital. Unfortunately my insurance doesn't allow me to go to her but if you are able to got to Rush and need the best OBY in Chicago, go to her.

Very professional and always on time. The longest I've waiting has been 10 mins. Very patient and makes you feel very comfortable and never rushes you. Super smart doctor. Love her.

Dr Albovias has a wonderful bedside manner. She takes the time to listen. Dr Albovias is a great Surgeon, I highly recommend her.

Dr Albovias is fantastic, her staff is slow and sometimes confused.
