Michael Tsinberg, MD

First, let me say I’m an employee of St. Jude Medical Center. I had a scheduled appointment with Dr Tsinburg and it was canceled, they said they were clearing his schedule because something came up that day. You guessed it, it was a Friday. I was rescheduled which made the appointment weeks later. The appointment was for 1030 am. I was taking a shower and missed a call. Upon getting out of the shower I immediately listened to the message. The message said the doctor would like you to come in ASAP because it works better with his schedule for the day. I threw on some clothes, brushed my hair and ran out the door with dripping wet hair. I never go anywhere without makeup but I did today. I arrived and was immediately taken to an exam room which just so happened to be right next to his office. He was sitting at his desk talking to all the nurses about the coming weekend. I sat there 50 minutes while he sat at his desk chatting. I could hear them talking and laughing. I was freezing… because my wet hair was still dripping. He came in the room and was grumpy to start. Big change from his laugh session with his staff. He asked if I had any questions about the procedure and when I asked the first one he was annoyed. I was there for a biopsy and he gave me local but when he first went to do the biopsy I said I can still feel everything. He huffed and said I gave you local. He proceeded to do the biopsy and I felt everything. I told him several times. He didn’t care. When he was done he just turned and walked out of the room. No bye, no nothing. I actually said thank you but he just closed the door. This man is beyond rude. He had no bedside manner or no compassion. He shouldn’t be allowed to work on animals much less people. I implore you to NOT go to this doctor. I had looked up reviews before I went and I knew he was rated poorly by many on several platforms. I was told he was the only doctor at Providence St. Jude that did this kind of biopsy I had no choice. I’m not sure what to do because I’m sure I will need another biopsy soon but I will never see this man again. Like I said before I am an employee of SJMC and in all my 31 years there I have never had a bad experience until Tsinberg! I have had such wonderful care by so many kind, caring and Compassionate physicians, he is not one of them. I recommend you stay away.

Dr. Tsinberg is a man a few words, but he is an excellent surgeon. The procedure I had was a parathyroidectomy; the doctor put the stitches on the inside of the skin with skin glue to hold it. It made the appearance of the incision so much less noticeable. I would highly recommend this doctor. Also, St. Jude is a wonderful hospital (of course, some nurses are better than others), but overall I had a very good experience.
