Staff and Administration are simply rude and dumb

Once i got to her office, i waited in a small room outside the "house" which is her office. The staff was on the phone ordering office supplies so i had to wait until they were done with their call to get processed so i could see the doctor. SO unprofessional! When i finally got seen the doctor did have good bedside manor, but told me she couldnt guarantee 2 huge things for me as a pregnant woman. One- she may not deliver my baby and i would not get to meet the person who would until im in labor! Two, she cant guarantee i could deliver at the hospital i wanted to. I would have to tour all 3 places and call her the day of to see what worked for HER. Pregnancy is scary enough too many variables using her. Also- took a pee test, asked to leave it (without a lid) on the counter in the public bathroom. Hour later after my exam as i went to use the bathroom before i left and my urine sample was still open on the counter- talk about exposed to the elements and unprofessional. UGH! NOT going… back

Dr. Carson is the best doctor I've ever had in ANY field. I have been with her since she started practicing, almost 13 years ago, and followed her to every office until she started her own practice. She helped me through a painful diagnosis and recommended one of the best surgeons. She made a difficult time much easier. Although it is true that you will wait for her, this is only further testament to the caring doctor that she is, as she never rushes you through your appointment and listens patiently. I recently moved out of state, almost across the country, and I have still remained her patient, scheduling her appointments on my visits back to NJ.

Doctor is scattered and instruments were handled inappropriately.

If she wasn't the best I would not wait 1-1.5 hrs in the waiting room and that is the only negative. She has taken wonderful care of me in a very difficult pregnancy. She gives the time and attention needed and will let you ask as many questions as you need to. I think that is why she is behind schedule because she gives you the time. Following other gyne problems I have, Dr Carson has taken care of me during both surgeries. I highly sing her praises whenever I can. I do not hesitate going to Dr Carson. She is great!

The medical staff touches the speculums with their bare hands. Upon bring it to their attention they took out a new one but returned the one they had touched to a drawer. Unsanitary and potentially dangerous. I have found a new doctor.

Dr. Carson is the best Gynocologist that I have encountered in the past 40 years. She is an excellent diagnostician and a very caring person as well. She spends as much time as necessary without rushing and she encourages questions, which is very unusual in most physicians that I have encountered. She also has a wonderful and courteous staff which is helpful when you are waiting in her office. I give her the highest rating.
