Dr. Mitchell Dean Seemann, MD

Our family has benefitted from Dr Seemann's care for well over a decade. I trust that when he recommends a surgical approach that it is warranted. He has a patient-centered approach where I consistently feel heard and never rushed. I am grateful to have benefitted from his experience and commitment to excellence. I recently had rotator cuff surgery. After hearing many stories from others who have been through this, I expected a lot of pain. To my great surprise, the pain was mild to moderate for a few days, although showing up more at night. I attribute my good fortune to his technique and skill. At my 1-week postoperative visit, Dr. Seemann explained why nights are more difficult by drawing out the role of physics and explaining how adjusting pillows could help. And help it did! I recommend Dr. Seemann wholeheartedly.

He spent a lot of time with my husband and I discussing my injury and the options I had available for repair and recovery, he gave us the information we needed to make a good decision. I fell down some stairs in August which ultimately resulted in my need for surgery on my right shoulder. My primary physician referred me to Panorama Orthopedics and I chose Dr. Seemann based on the bios I was reading. In choosing a Doctor you do not know or hasn’t been referred to you, there’s a degree of apprehension. Any concerns I had were quickly eliminated when I met Dr. Seemann and his Staff, particularly his P.A.,Taylor, with their heartfelt manner and easily understandable communication in answering my questions with the purpose of restoring my health and assisting me to become again the person I was before my fall. For that, I sincerely thank them and am grateful.

Dr Seemann was thorough and explained my injury in great detail. He viewed my MRI of the knee and pointed out my injuries in layman’s terms. He reviewed best practice follow up care and explained what I should do in my rehab over the next month!

He is amazing and very minimal down time from ACL and MCL repair. Excellent in every aspect from first check to surgery and post op.... he is amazing

I have been a patient of Dr Seemann since I moved to Colorado in 2007. He has always given me every option available to me and even called in his colleagues for second opinions. Many doctors wouldn’t do that. He has tremendous bed side manner, actually cares, remembers my kids every visit. And most importantly has performed wonderful surgeries on my complicated leg. I would recommend anyone to Dr Seemann as a tremendous seasoned surgeon who is still actively learning and keeping up on latest research and techniques.

I’ve worked with Dr Seeman since researching knee specialists when I moved to CO back in 2008! He has tremendous bedside manner, pays attention to every detail. And after being a surgeon for decades is humble enough to seek outside opinion on matters out of his scope. All of the makings of a tremendous doctor you can trust. And his medical team and assistants are just as caring, communicative and attentive.

Amazing! That word encompasses what Dr. Seemann is as a person and doctor. I would recommend to anyone who needs orthopedic surgery, for me it was my ACL. We deserve the best and Dr. Seemann is the best!
