Dr. Nicholas Jean Beaulieu, MD

Disappointed for the fourth time. Instead of seeing a doctor, they had us see a STUDENT supervised by a NURSE Practitioner. We knew my daughter had Swimmers Ear so a diagnoses was not necessary, just a prescription. They provided a prescription for Amoxicillin. After using the prescribed amoxicillin for two weeks with no results, we drove to Piedmont to see our Pediatrician who laughed, apparently Amoxicillin is known to not do help Swimmers Ear. I’m fuming, I have had similar experiences with this practice in the past. The ONLY reason we went back was based on a recommendation from a friend who pays $100 every month to be able to see the ONLY Dr in the practice, once or twice per year. Is this really healthcare? In America?

Dr. Beaulieu, you are one of the best doctors I have had the pleasure to treat me. I got so sick and went to the hospital and the doctor did not know what was wrong and gave me morphine for the severe abdominal pains I was having. All types of tests were run, they did not know. Came to your office immediately, salmonella poisoning. You are professional, bedside manners are excellent. You gave me time to cry, and did not rush and brush me off. The atmosphere of your office is clean and cozy. Your staff is patient and exceptionally courteous. Today, you would still be my doctor, but you do not accept my insurance plan. Thank you for helping with the today health of my life. God bless you.

My wife and I were searching for a new family doctor and decided to try Dr. Beaulieu. When I arrived for the appointment I was told I couldn't see the doctor because they don't accept my insurance, although they confirmed when I made the appointment. I called my insurance carrier while standing at the front desk and they also confirmed the Dr. was in network. I asked the receptionist if she could speak with them and she stated, "I don't want to, go somewhere else." Overall terrible experience.

Went in to the urgent care clinic at the recommendation of my pharmacist. The office is efficient and caring. Dr Beaulieu was personable and thorough. I think I may switch from my current primary care doc.

I had some serious trouble with my inner ear last year, and Dr. Beaulieu and his staff were really great in helping me out and making me feel like they were taking my problem seriously instead of writing off my symptoms, which is something that's happened to me before. I don't think I'd go anywhere else if it could be helped; I like feeling like a doctor cares about what's going on with me, and I really appreciate a doctor who *gets it right* and works WITH me instead of just talking at me about things I can't do/things that aren't right for me.

I've been seeing him for a little over a year now, and I had all my records transferred over to him, so he had my allergies. But I recently went in after receiving an animal bite and he prescribed me sulfamethoxazole. I now know is generic for bactrim, which I am allergic to and Dr. Beaulieu knows this. I know he had it in my information, because I called up after I realized what he had me taking and when I asked what my listed allergies were, he told me bactrim was one. He never apologized and just told me to stop taking it after waiting two days to get back to me.

Dr. "Nick" is the best doctor I have ever experienced in terms of his thoroughness, caring disposition and bedside manner. He takes the time to ask questions, listen and fully understand my health concerns before diagnosing the problem and determining a solution. The fact that he does both family practice and urgent care is a big plus along with the convenience of the location. He was highly recommended by a friend in my search for a new primary care doctor and could not be more pleased!

I went to find a primary physician, and he just happened to be the closest one to my house. When I drove up, I was surprised to find it was an urgent care clinic. Turns out they are both urgent care and family practice.I was astounded how fast I got in. Fast, professional. Explained things clearly (why I had to do X rather than Y, etc).He was very much oriented at solving the problems I may have and care to fix and not chiding me about things I don't really care about yet. I really like that he's not interested in over-medicating things. Helpful referrals on the things I wanted with no fuss.

I am VERY picky about the doctors that I see. "Dr. Nick" and his staff have provided the best healthcare I have ever received. Dr. Nick treats the whole person. He answers all my questions patiently and completely. I never feel judged by him. I Highly recomend him as a doctor.
