Dr. Nicola Adalia Pemberton, MD

First I want to say Dr. Pemberton was amazing. So sweet and knowledgeable but her STAFF is going to run her out of business! Her staff is absolutely horrible from beginning to end. From my first visit NO ONE informs you of anything going on I’ve never been to a doctor office where things weren’t explained step by step. You leave the ultrasound room and it’s ok have a nice day. No one tells you if you have to go in another room for results no one tells you if the doctor will call you NOTHING you walk around the office like a chicken with their head cut off! I had to ask myself for my blood test and results. Secondly and very important. I was having a miscarriage, I knew I was from my results. I still had to wait 10 days for a 2nd ultrasound. I waited about 2 or 3 days until I couldn’t anymore, I called the office and spoke to the receptionist, my exact words were “I feel like I’m dying. I do not think I can make it 10 days please please I need to see the doctor immediately or at least… talk to her” the receptionist would not try to squeeze me in for nothing in the world I had to leave work early to see the doctor 5 days later! And I never even received a call from the doctor to check up on me! I have been in many scenarios where I’ve told a receptionist I need to speak to the doctor and a few minutes or hours later I received a call from the doctor or a receptionist with a message from the doctor (not even for an emergency) either the doctor just didn’t care or her incompetent staff never passed on the message. The process I went through I was supposed to go back to the doctor every couple of weeks to check on the miscarriage no one even bothered to call me to schedule me in. I was ready to let ALL of that go as serious as it is until I learned that they had over charged me $130!!!! I was able to get $70 reimbursed from the billing dept but they said the rest had to be in a check directly from the doctors office. 5 weeks later and I’m still calling them every other day to get my check. Every other day it’s another run around. The manager is in a meeting (usually all day) the manager is on the phone the manager just stepped out. You told the receptionist you were picking up the check but nobody told me ??. I mailed it I don’t know why you never got it now you have to wait another week for a new one. Any story you can think of. DO NOT GO HERE unless your patience is up the wall!!!! Again Dr. Pemberton is absolutely amazing!!!! But she’s not worth dealing with her sh***y staff!

After what I went through today at this careless insensitivity place they don't even deserve a one star. I left the office very upset and crying I rush to this facility straight from work at 4:03pm. Thinking that my appointment was at 4:20pm. Sign- in and sat there and watch everyone that came in after me get called into the back room. So around 4:30 I approach the front desk and kindly ask the chubby long straight black hair Hispanic women at the desk do I have a coepay today? She look up at me with a attitude and said "You are just doing OB today." From there I processed back to my chair and continued to wait. Still seating there watching everyone getting called in so around 5pm I went back up to her and ask "miss what time is my appointment I been sitting here for an hour now." She look up at me rolled her eyes with an attitude and said well in the the computer it says 4:50pm did you get a text?" I continue by saying to her I been here for and hour now why could someone just let me… know this instead of having me wait. As I'm walking back to my chair she started to whisper something to the other front desk employee and they both chuckled. Finally at 5:15pm I got called in. They took my vitals and place me and a room and started the doctor will be right in. For another 30 min I sat in that room still no doctor. Finally I gather my stuff and heading out.. I was stop by one of the staff and said don't leave I'll get someone right in. By that time I just started to burst into tears.. this is my second pregnancy, I never had a chance to meet my first baby. I had miscarriages at 21 weeks due to my doctor negligence. I prayed and search long and hard for a doctor. Doing my first visit I had felt safe with this doctor and I thank God so much for finding her, but after today visit I'm really disgusted by how I was treated by the front desk staff and I'm afraid to go back. I hope that this doesn't happen to anyone else and something should be done with the front staff. I finally read most of the negative comments about this office and it all has to do with the unpleasant and unprofessionalism of the front desk staff.

Dr. Pemberton is very welcoming with her warm smile. She sits down with you and explains everything with time. She answers all questions. She also helped me overcome my fear of even going to a OB/GYN. Highly recommended.

My daughters 1st time at a gynecologist and it was rocky at first my appointment was at 4:10 I got there and was told doctor 2 hours behind didn't see until 7 pm ????. However once in with the doctor she was awesome!!! My daughter was comfortable and so was I. I will be returning and will hope our next appointment will be better!

Dr Pemberten is very nice, sweet and kind doctor. She made me feel relaxed in my labor and delivery. she is very soft spoken and she explained me everything very professionally. Joann midwife working with her is also nice n great person. They both were really friendly and answered my all questions. her staff is nice too and office very nice n clean. I wished I had her 2 year ago too. She changed my difficult time of delivery into easy time.

There isn't enough space to share how great my experience was with Dr. Pemberton. She was kind and took time with me during each visit. She successfully delivered my baby and was helpful in the days after. I had a family tragedy that occurred days after my daughters birth. She came to the hospital to see me as opposed to calling. She exceeded the care you would expect from a professional. I can't say enough nice things about my experience with her.

Dr. Pemberton is amazing. From the first moment I walked and spoke with I felt I knew her for years. She just made me feel so comfortable that words cannot express! I am expecting my first child- so you can just imagine how nerve racking it is. Her staff (especially Maria) is wonderful. Using the portal for patients is a plus! They return yours calls right away and the MD even writes back. I am glad I found Dr. Pemberton for my first baby (got lucky) ! I am planning to have more and definitely will keep this MD as my Number 1.

Finally a female OB/GYN to the area that is intelligent, genuinely caring and always availalable to answer any questions I have. Her office is state of the art and very spa-like. She truly cares about you and you never feel rushed. She is up to date with the latest procedures and even does robotic surgery! I was sent to her by a friend and I could not be happier. I love the patient portal where I can personally email the doctor and get a response from her almost immediately.

Dr. Pemberton made me feel so at ease and listened to every concern I had. She is very knowledgeable and cares about the needs of the patient. Office facility is very clean and relaxing. Highly recommended!

This is a great Doctor I would recommend her to everyone. The office is clean and staff is very friendly. The doctor gave me great feed back on everything and made sure I understood all information given to me before I left office.
