I recently had cataract surgery done on both eyes by Dr. Patrick Costello. If you are considering having cataract surgery, I would HIGHLY recommend him. You won’t be disappointed. Both of my surgeries were done at the Griffiss Surgical Center. Dr. Costello and his staff were great. They all showed professionalism, they were very caring and compassionate.

I am thoroughly pleased with my recent cataract surgery by Patrick Costello, MD. Prior to surgery, Dr. Costello explained the procedure and what to expect. The surgery was completed without any complications. The after-surgery care was excellent. Dr. Costello answered all of my questions. Without reservation, I recommend Dr. Patrick Costello for any surgery of this nature.

I had surgery on one eye. My peripheral vision was blurred immediately after the surgery and still is at this present time. Also, I could see the edge of the lens that was placed in my eye and/or a shadow from the lens. I was given a paper that said this can happen to 40% of patients. I was asked to return for more surgery to correct it. I decided to find another doctor to do the second surgery.

Dr. Costello provides excellent care. My recent cataract surgery was performed with great professionalism. He always explains what his findings are quite clearly as are his directions for followup. My only complaint, and it is not related to his services, is that there was confusion about the time I was to report for surgery. On one occasion I had to ask and on the second surgery they gave me the wrong time and called to ask if I was going to show up.
