Dr. Paul Franklin Yau, MD

Dr. Yau has always been a gem to work with. I have seen him on numerous occasions and he has always been professional, personable and informative. He never seems rushed during your appointments and takes the time to explain the issues you face and how he thinks is the best way to proceed. I would wholeheartedly recommend him to any of my family and friends. He’s a great doctor and a good guy.

I have gone to Dr Yau for several, and have been very pleased with him. In addition to being an excellent physician, he is also very personable. He listens to my concerns and issues, and talks about different options. Very straight forward and easy to understand. I highly recommend him.

I have been a patient of Dr Yau's for several years. I needed a knee replacement, and he used a newer method than the doctor I had been seeing. Since that time, he has also replaced both of my hips. I have found him not only to be an excellent surgeon, but a very sincere and caring person. He takes time to listen to the patient and evaluate the problem, then discuss possible treatment options and their outcomes. He is the only surgeon to personally call me before and after the procedure to see if I had questions and how I was doing after the procedure. The only criticism I would offer is the waiting time for an office visit. He spends so much time with each patient that he is behind schedule as the day goes on. I believe that he is worth the wait, and highly recommend him for issues with knees or hips.

Dr. Yau is an amazing surgeon. I took a fall a couple of months ago. He replaced my broken prosthetic hip and took care of reattaching a new prosthetic hip to my splintered femur. I am so glad he was available to handle my surgery. He and his staff are professional and caring and I highly recommend Dr. Yau and TOA.

Everything was good with the exception of last visit I was trying to ask questions as Dr. Yau was walking out the door of my room seems like he was in way to big hurry to talk with me. I am important to me. I still have questions w/no answers.

Good experience! Every thing was handled in a professional manner! Really appreciated that the doctor met with me right before the surgery! Doctor very easy to talk to And he projects an image of professionalism and his manner is both relaxing and somewhat humorous! Staff was very good and responsive! Seem To be healing quite well so far!

Best doctor i could ask for. I did not think it was possible for me to ever walk normal again or my hips to be level. I am amazed by how my surgery and recovery has went!

Dr. Yau performed a total knee replacement using robotic procedure. His work far exceeded my expectations. I cannot comprehend a better orthopedic surgeon, and would recommend him unconditionally.

When I was being taken to the exam room, Dr., Yau watched me walk by. In the exam room Dr Yau asked what I wanted to do instead of telling me what to do. We discussed my forthcoming surgery. Dr Yau expressed concerns about other health areas that I knew about but I had not told him nor his staff about them. I’m very thankful that this doctor actually pays attention to the signs your body is showing.
