Dr Per L. Sandberg, MD

Awful experience with Dr. Sandberg. Felt he was a bit odd in bedside manner, kept patting my leg. But also over-inflated a potential complication in my pregnancy which made me cry later since he made me feel like it was incredibly severe. After talking to a few other MFM/genetic counselor, got a more balanced view and they alluded to him over-inflating the potential complication.

I believe Dr Sandberg was trying to be conservative in telling me I needed additional scans, however I did not like his bedside manner during my pregnancy. I ended up getting a second opinion and I’m glad I did and never went back to him.

Had a terrible experience with this doctor that involved unnecessary scans, interventions and ultimately a very stressful pregnancy resulting in a tough delivery. Reading the other comment here it seems he always flags babies are growth restricted and unnecessarily worries parents. He is not up to date on research and is misleading patients. Get a second opinion before you trust anything this doctor says.

Dr. Per L. Sandberg did my ultrasound last time and he showed his concern regarding my baby's growth and to my surprise he delayed to sign off my report and my OB was not able to see my report and because of that she was not able to provide me necessary advice. I am so worried about my baby and feeling so helpless.
