Dr. Peter Darby Roman, MD

Dr. Roman has done 6 trigger finger surgeries on me and 5 on my husband. He is caring and does a great job. The surgeries are always booked quickly usually for the following week. Wouldn't go to any other orthopedic surgeon. Highly recommend.

Barely looked at me and did not listen to my complaints of pain. I felt rushed out, He just wasn't listening and was more focused on getting rid of me for a next appointment then trying to heal me...I tray to explain for him and didn’t even look at me I just don't know what this guys problem is

I am so grateful that Dr. Roman did a fantastic job of repairing my shattered femur and without using a blood transfusion. Even though I am in my seventies I had no complications and my physical therapy is progressing nicely.

I have been treating with Dr. Roman for about ten years. I have always been satisfied with his treatment and consults. His office staff is well organized and treats patients with respect.

Dr. Roman knows his field and although he has a strong opinion ( you're not going to win) he is also very kind and compassionate with a sense of humor to make patients feel at ease. Dr. Roman's years of experience speak for itself and we should be appreciative that we don't have to travel to Boston when Dr. Roman's practice is very convenient and the care is just as good or even better.

First of all, My brother was injured at work and workers comp got Dr Peter Roman as the surgoen to operate on his shoulder. BIG MISTAKE!!! It was UNSUCCESSFUL!!! My brother is in more pain now than before the surgery. He can no longer work in the field he has worked for many years... He needs another surgery to correct what this Dr screwed up... NO WE WOULD NOT RECCOMEND DR ROMAN!!!! Then my brother in-law needed knee replacement. As it turned out he also had Dr Roman, not knowing the situation my brother was in by HIM and my brother in-law moved forward with his surgery and now he is NO LONGER ABLE TO BEND HIS KNEE BACK OR WALK WITHOUT PAIN. He too now needs surgery to correct what Dr Peter Roman did to him... AGAIN, NO WE WOULD NOT RECCOMEND!!!!!!

I had ankle replacement.surgery went great .I had an infection in incision for six months.could could not ask for a more confident doctor. He assured me all would go well.I will probably need knee surgery.will go back to dr.roman.he treated me with utmost kindness.

Dr. Roman saved me a future of multiple surgeries. If your looking for a Boston surgeon, rest assured he is at that caliber if not above! I was looking at multiple skin grafts to close my wound and Dr. Roman being the second surgeon to come in on my case informed me he could take out my spacer in my knee insert a smaller one and close the wound. He did just that. He takes the time to answer all my questions, no matter how stupid they may seem. And he surrounds himself with a great staff and an incredible nurse (Patty) that goes through hoops to help me! I would take my own children there without blinking an eye!

Dr Roman had been my Orthopedic Dr for many years, most recently performing surgury by reattching my left tricep ligament back onto to my elbow. The whole experience, from pre-op to post op, was nothing short of outstanding. Not only is he a great and well respected surgeon, he's also a great human being who put his patients first.
