Dr. Peter Donald Zeegen, MD

I showed up for my scheduled appointment only to be told that the doctor did not accept insurance. It was the same insurance I told them I had when I booked the appointment. Of course, I was presented with the option of seeing the doctor anyway, but at an out-of-pocket cost “beginning” at $275. Why a business would tell a patient it accepts a specific insurance plan when setting an appointment and then turn that patient away at the time of the appointment, after the patient has taken time off to make it to the appointment, baffles me. Considering it was clearly their mistake, I think the visit should have been comped. Perhaps, I got off cheap. The last thing I need is an uncaring eye doctor. Thanks a lot Peter Zeegan.

I have been going to Dr. Zeegan fo 15 years. He has done catrarac sugery as well as many other procedures. The staff is terrific and Dr. Zeegan is the best I have ever found. Caring and compassionate and excellent. Go early in the morning to avoid the wait.

Very positive experience. Very professional doctor, courtious and kind, spends all the required time with the patients. Excellent doctor.

Rude and ignorant staff. Plus the optometrist got my prescription wrong twice and spent barely anytime helping me with the contact lens fitting. He's very old and quite grumpy. Needs to retireNever coming back

The doctor was great. This is a great Medical Group. Marina in the back at West Hills was not pleasant at all, and Jamie in the front not at all welcoming as she did not say hello and was very stressed.
