Dr. Philip David Hellreich, MD

Knows his stuff, no dillydally. I trust this guy after seeing 3 others who tried but got it wrong . Last one didn’t even look at the skin rash, just “knew” without examination. Prescribed stuff that made it worse, I mean like a nuclear radiation on my privates!

Dr got another patients ANTISEPTIC CREAM on my water canteen and I accidentally ingested it! He didn't wash his hands upon entering or leaving my visit. Dr Hellreich denied this, lied, harassed me in person, and over the phone. For days I had an unknown slimy cream residou on my lips and water canteen. As hard as I tried to get it off, it wouldn't work. NO APOLOGY. Nasty old man. the second thing he said to me, I just met this guy, he incessantly asks me to drop my pants to inspect me for bug bites (to rule out scabies-I didn't have it). I did not take my pants off. Aside from this he told me my issue with bug bites was nuerological, from stress, and that it's in my head. I've never met a more disrespectful Dr. When I told a Kailua friend about my experience, she told me some pretty horifying things about Hellreich's track record in dealing with skin cancer patients....please save yourself the headaches. DO NOT GO HERE. No bedside manner to speak of.

I'm so grateful to have him as my Doctor. He is not only compassionate but well qualified. He helped me to overcome skin cancer.

He saved my face and possibly my life. I had a melanoma on my nose and he immediately sent me to special surgeon and had it removed. 30 years later, I am good and my nose in tact! Bless him!

Dr. Hellreich is an excellent dermatology Doctor. He uses prescription drugs in combination to get the best result, unlike other dermatologist I have had experience with. My past doctors have used many of the same products, but Dr. Hellreich knows how to use these prescriptions in combination to get the result that works for you, whereas others only tried one product.

He was a very pleasant man. Made me feel comfortable for a procedure that would hurt a little. I told him I had two children! Staff nice and had fun in the waiting room talking to others with too many years living in Hawaii's sunshine..

Dr. Hellreich is the most knowledgeable doctor I have ever met

I've been a patient of Dr. H for at least 7 years. He's knowledgeable, caring, and doesn't hesitate to say what he thinks. I trust he and his staff completely. It is a very busy office, but they move you in and out without feeling shortchanged.

Dr. Hellreich is the best. He is knowledgeable, warm, open, informative, accepts patient input, shares his opinion, etc. Anyone on the island of Oahu who may need a dermatologist would do well to make an appointment with Dr. Hellreich and see for yourself!
