Dr. Philip Christian Roholt, MD

A BIG thumbs down. BEWARE. Toric lens implant rotated which required another surgery by Roholt. After that surgery an infection developed that was diagnosed as endophthalmitis, a rare inflammation that is a medical emergency. I had to have three shots injected into my eyeball to prevent me from going blind in that eye. As a result of that I've got annoying floaters and flashing lights in my peripheral vision. After two eyeglass prescriptions that created warped vision in my unoperated eye, the optometrist in Roholt's office still refused to remove the astigmatism correction from my third prescription which left me with a pair of useless eyeglasses. And now I've learned from another doctor that I don't even have astigmatism in that eye.

The girls were so friendly and made me feel at ease before my lasik surgery.

Dr. Roholt and his staff are friendly, courteous, knowledgeable and most importantly, professional. I decided to get LASIK after I struggled with glasses and contacts for almost 20 years. The results were amazing and better than my glasses ever were. Nothing like waking up in the morning and instantly being able to see. Only thing I can see them improving is the wait time. My last visit I sat in the chair for nearly 20 minutes before Dr. Roholt saw me. Oh well. I can see so I won't complain.

I was having vision issues due to long term usage of medications for my medical conditions, a side effect being cataracts. I do not fall into the typical population of this vision issue due to my age. His staff were awesome..polite..and very well educated in the services provide prior to my time with either doctor. I was totally amazed at their use and knowledge of advance technology. I knew I was in good hands!Both doctors were kind and very generous with their time during the appointments, offering support. Due to the confusion I had encountered with names on my eye drops prior to surgery, I phoned the answering service after hours and within 20 minutes I had the answers I needed!Dr. Roholt is a blessing to those who are in need of vision correction. I feel we are all given specific talents to share with others, he does have healing hands and a heart of gold. Plays country music while doing my surgery!!! lolol...Thanks Dr. Roholt ...Dr. Mattie and staff...much appreciated as I begin… a new phase in my life without glasses...first time in many many years I am able to purchase regular sunglasses!!! A miracle!One happy client!!!

My experience with Roholt Vision was excellent beginning with my first appointment. The office staff was pleasant and helpful. My exam was thorough and explained to me in detail. Dr. Roholt and the surgery were beyond expectations. This was and still is, a wonderful experience. Outstanding!

After having Lasik eye surgery, performed by Dr. Roholt, not only did he do an excellent job with the actually procedure but he called me at my home to check and see how I was doing...on a Sunday! Great doctor, 4 stars for sure!

My overall experience with Dr. Roholt was outstanding. He is professional and caring. Besides yourself, there is no one who wants your vision to be perfect more than him. He is a true perfectionist. He would not stop at anything to makes things exactly right. I would highly recommend him.

got a second opinion and found out i was not a good candidate for treatment rohol demanded i have or i might lose my sight. be very carefull.

I would not recommend Dr. Roholt to a friend or anyone else. His office woman talks really fast and goes over the papers to have the cataract surgery it isn't funny. Not sure if I really had cataracts or not. Found out from a good source he does the YAG after every cataract surgery for second cataracts? Not so sur everyone has this or it's just a money gimmic. Not really satisfied with the implants he implanted for a lot of money either.
