Dr. Phillip Robert Kravetz, DO

Dr Kravetz was very condescending to me. He was yelling loudly. I was embarrassed to walk out knowing the other staff could hear him. I did not ask for medication of any kind but he kept saying that I was on too much. He said I'd received too many epidurals in the past. He acted like that was my fault, like I prescribed the medication and ordered the procedures. That visit caused me to reconsider any possibility of going to other physicians in the Cullman Regional Medical Group. I have been depressed and had a difficult time coping since seeing him. I'm so very sorry I went to him for help but got spoken to like I was skum of the earth. He did not deserve 1 star.

Extremely rude and that’s me being nice. I was hoping it “just wasn’t his day,” but from the reviews I think most people dislike him. This I completely understand. The nurse practitioner however, was extremely nice. I wish I would’ve read the reviews first.

Doc sure moves around a lot. Left Arkansas with medical board looking at him. Later reprimanded. Left Dallas overnight to Houston. With Texas board case pending. Left Houston after less than a month. Left Hurst after less than a year. Now in Alabama. Sure does move around a lot. Wonder what that is all about?

former patinet of dr kravetz in texas he was great, explained my problem better than any other doctor. i met the guy whose screws did break and he blamed dr kravetz for a bad outcome. it was really the other doctors at misi who were indicted by the federal government for fraud. this patient was a total drug seeking disablity guy who was lucky dr kravetz was willing to try and help him!

dr kravatz has never called me since my surgery 8 weeks ago..he has an incompetent office staff who has screwed me around about my appts, back xrays being that request for a CD has never been sent to my hospital whhe ere my xrays were done. all the original form for xrays was to fax the xrays to his office...his office was requested to send a form for a cd which has never been done in the last 5 weeks....anything u request from his office goes in one ear and out the other....i can't stand INCOMPETENCE esp from a surgeon's office, now i find he's leaving this office....what kind of a surgeon would not at least call me....why is he leaving i need to be checked by him he did my surgery and i think i have every reason to request that he call me personally and tell me why he's never followed up with me personally

Fusion failed. Pedicle screws broken. Ball of fusion slurry left on L-5 nerve. I had to have revision surgery. This is not the fault if MISI, but the fault of Dr. Kravetz. He is a very poor surgeon.

i was a patient of dr kravetz at MISI. he had to leave the practice because the other partners were in trouble with the federal government, he was not. he couldnt stay in the area right away because of his contract. he did everyones surgery at the end without getting paid as a favor to the patients. the group then refused to see his patients. don't blame him! he was very upfront and honest. great surgical outcome. got my life back!

Had xlif surgery, l2 to s1. Kravetz moved from dallas to Houston a week later. I developed blood clots, and pulmonary embolism. Now, 5 months later, can barely walk. Two pedicle screws broken. Since Kravetz is gone, MISI has washed their hands of me. Kravetz is horrible doc. Go elsewhere!

Dr Kravetz operated on my back March 2017. I had two follow up appointments with him at the Minimally Invasive Surgical Institute. Then he left the practice. He told me and I got a letter from the Minimally Invasive Surgical institute that another doctor there would be available. NO They are not won't take an appointment. I have medicare and they don't see medicare patients. I am really upset with the Institute they are unreliable in patient care.

Had spine surgery 4 years ago. Left after 6 months with no word or recommendation as who to continue follow up with. Learned today have to have surgery again because he screwed up the 1st one. Stay away from him.
