Dr. Rajan Kapoor, MD

I and my wife have doctor Rajan Kapoor as our family doctor and primary care provider for two years now. In this time period, we have learned to appreciate not only his competence as a physician but also his positive and compassionate attitude. He is always available, ready not only to treat his patients but also to support them with sound advice and decision making. His bedside manners are excellent. We live in Leesburg and drive one hour when coming to his office but would drive even longer, if necessary, to be assisted by a doctor like him. I highly recommend Dr. Kapoor as a clinical family doctor.

Dr. Kapoor was my hospitalist @ Advent Health. Awful bedside manner & out of the room in seconds. He approached me to have him be my primary physician IRL. I have had hospitalists in the past & next time, I will be sure he is not involved in my care.

He is on call for my doctor Dr. Charles Williams. Unable to reach him all day for medications I am sick with sore throat,chills,earache. I called the service at 1457,1630,1930,2100.I was told he would call back. No response. At 1930 i was told he did not call or talk to patients. I called again at 2100, so sick. I was told I only asked for refill when i talked to service. I told them i had told them all day i was sick. I told them I was a RN and this is not acceptable. When a physician accepts another physician's patients he is their healthcare provider and is responsible to treat them.I told them i was reporting them and the doctor to DPR and Florida Dept.of Health. At 2110 Dr.Rajan Kapoor called me and said the answering service never told him i was sick. They said i wanted refill for a medication. I am sick and i also needed a refill on one of my meds he said he does not refill routine meds while covering.. however i don't care if he refills my meds or not, but i do need… antibiotics. Now he wants to find a pharmacy somewhere he can order antibiotics. I told him there were no pharmacies open near me and i am too sick to go too far. He said if you get worse go to the ER so you won't get septic. I talked with a friend who worked for Dr. Williams and he will reach someone at Dr.Williams office tomorrow and get hold of him and get me something ordered. I am so sick and very disappointed.As a Registered Nurse I am just appalled.

I have been in the hospital many times in the last few years. I have never met a Hospitalist who has such a caring personality and really not only cares about the patient but listens to the patient. That is rare. He is very knowledgeable. I totally trust him with my care, and those who know what I have been through know that I don't give that trust out easily.

One of a kind doctor! No stronger piece of mind than knowing Dr Kapoor is behind your Care in the hospital.. along with Dr Puri.. I consider him a family member...

Very personable and considerate. Promptness not so much. Have waited up to 1 1/2 hours to see him after arriving on time for apointment.

Dr Kapoor really cares about his patients. He takes time to listen to their concerns and addresses their issues. He is very thorough in his examinations and will explain to his patients what they don't understand.
