Great Doctor

Met Dr. Brahmbatt outside of the OR for the first time as he was doing a hernia repair on top of my elected surgery. His manner is curt, he doesn't listen and has little follow-up other than what is minimally required. I don't feel he was attentive or wanting to really be there. I was not impressed with him at all. His PA was wonderful though!

We were literally scared at his diagnosis. Nothing was clear. Made us wait for 2 hrs and did not even spend 30 mins answering / listening to us. Did not talk soothing to the patient. Also when we were asking questions, he could have said I do not know about this. Instead was just told us, these are all medical terms and you will not understand. But gave a lists of tests which were taken just a few weeks before. At least the test directions what he gave was right. Not a proper way of addressing. Also mentioned to the patient if they are anxious about whats going on, he said, if you are anxious we will just suggest ok this patient is so in hurry. we ll get it operated. ?????? This is not the way to respond to a worrying patient. we felt bad and do not want to go back to him.
