Dr. Richard Graham Day, MD

I have had decent experiences with Dr. Day however him and his staff are always rushed and barely take the time to evaluate me. I have come in with some health concerns only to be barely looked at and sent for testing rather than given a referral for a specialist that I very much so need. Too many patients or not, they should be taking the time to care for the patients they have.

Saw him for the first time, rushed me out of the exam room in less than 15 minutes, just told me to get blood work, took my blood pressure, then charged me $350 for all of that. Definitely not worth it. Don't go see Dr. Day.

The number of times this man has screwed me over on my prescription drugs is one too many. The first time, he failed to inform me that his policy changed to require patients to come in every 6 months in order to get a refill. This last time he told me that he had recorded my prescriptions into the system and I would be able to call in for a refill. He failed to record them all and refused my refills, requiring another visit. I've now had to go 3 days without my medication. If you need prescriptions don't count on Dr. Day.

Dr. Day has always taken the right amount of time with my wife and me, and is accurate in diagnosis and prescription.

Very disappointed in the lack of empathy and professionalism of this group. I was trying to establish myself as a new patient with Dr. Richard Day. I was going through a very difficult time in my life and missed two appointments. I called after missing each the same day and profusely apologized, told them I would pay the missed appt fee, and explained what had happened and why. Extremely unfriendly and told me they would check to see if Dr. Day would accept me and call me back the next day but did not follow up. When I proactively followed up and again apologized, was just told a flat out no. Yes, I missed two appointments and realize that the doctor's time is valuable but I did try to take responsibility for them and would think they would be a little more understanding, given my situation. But they could care less and were just cold and unfriendly. Thanks Cuesta Medical Group for treating me so poorly and making me feel like I don't matter with your callous attitude.

Dr. Day is loved and adored by his patients and he's admired by his peers.

Best doctor I've ever had. Extremely bright, approachable, superb diagnostician.

Dr. Day is the best!!
