Dr. Richard Daly Kahmann, MD

Very thorough exam, explains everything in the MRI, he really cares for his patients plus a good outcome after surgery.

The Dr. seems to know his stuff. He did surgery on my back. I advise all who use him to have a list of all questions you want to ask and, don't let him go till he answers all to satisfaction as, especially after surgery, you won't get much of a chance to ask. He'll be trying to leave as your asking your questions or did me anyway at all meetings before and after. If you leave a message on the answering machine, follow up on it as it probably got put aside.

Dr. Kahmann treated me as if I was not going to understand what he was talking about. He feels superior. He was rude. I was with another person that day and the other person thinks like myself. He does talk with his hands a lot and it is scaring to be talking with a person when he is so aggressive. I do value all the years these Doctors devoted their time to study, but, they should not forget that patients put the bread on their table every day. Without patients they would have no business. He was inconsiderate of my feelings. He refused to take my case. Without a proper test, he jumped to conclusions that my spine was so weak and damaged, that would collapse if he put the screws and rods. Furthermore, he main concern was money. He made it very clear that my health insurance couldn't pay enough to him to take care of me. I have been very depressed since I saw Dr. Kahmann. I will do my research and I will complain to the Group of Doctors that rule the Orthopedic Doctors' attitude… and behaviors. They have to understand that if they want to be respected, they have to start respecting and helping the patient. Sincerely yours.

He diagnosed my sciatica and pain as a disc herniation and was very informative. He spent a great deal of time showing me the MRI and allowing me to ask questions. He gave me options on treatment. He came highly recommended.

This is a doctor that talks to you instead of AT you. He listens and can not do enough for you. He is what ALL doctors should act like, caring & thoughtful, and never rushes you. A+++++++++++++++
