Dr. Casola performed a complex Synovectomy surgery on my knee with 100% positive results. Dr. Casola was very knowledgeable and professional in his treatment and care. He throughly explained the issues with my knee and the procedure to be performed. He was excellent in coordinating with the other doctors involved with my case. He followed through in my post surgery care to insure I experienced a successful recovery. Dr. Casola is a kind and caring person and an excellent surgeon.

Dr. Casola did my surgery which was so complexed most surgeons wouldn’t do it. He did a great job & it was such a complicated surgery that his talented hands fixed . I am forever great full .

I had come into gulf coast hospital with a detached tricep.i had compartment syndrome After 2 surgeries back to back I now have full use of my arm.He cares about his patients and their wellbeing I highly recommend dr. Casola

I was admitted to Gulf Coast Hospital with a proximal humerus fracture and dislocated shoulder after a nasty fall down a flight of stairs. Dr Casola repaired my shoulder. I have never met a more patient oriented doctor. He was hands on from day one and took the time to answer all my many questions and concerns in both the hospital and each time in his office. I never felt rushed, brushed off nor patronized. I highly recommend Dr Casola and would use him again if the need occurs.

After having 12 knee surgeries, including 3 previous total knee replacements by the age of 34. I was certain that I would never walk without pain again. My previous orthopedic surgeon had botched my 3rd knee replacement and I couldn’t find anyone willing to do anything other than amputate above the knee. To get rid of me, my previous surgeon passed me off to Dr. Casola and boy am I glad he did. My first time meeting Dr. Casola, he looked at all of my scans and x-rays and said “I can fix this”! I honestly ugly cried right there in his office. For years I had been told that the only way I would get function back was with an amputation. A week later I was in surgery and now 8 weeks later, I’m not in pain for the first time in nearly a decade. Not only did Dr. casola save my leg but he saved my life. I don’t know how much longer I could have pushed on with the pain I was in.

My mother (80 yrs old) was seen by Dr Casola and he explained her condition very well. I am a detailed person and love the fact that he spent time explaining the pro's and con's of a surgery, (she had and infection on her hip implant) if she decide to do it. That information was crucial for us in order to take the decision. Show interest for the patient and his/her condition. Explain what it is. Other doctors go around the situation or do not explain as they should to their patients.

I was referred to Dr. Casola after developing staph infection after knee replacement. It took some time but after two surgeries I was healed. Subsequently I suffered a broken femur in the same leg, Dr. Casola took care of this problem also. I ended up having to have to receive a bone replacement, but am still walking. He is easy to talk to and is as far as I am concerned, honest as he tells you what is going to be done.
