Dr. Robert Frederick Mohr, MD

I've been seeing Dr. Mohr for more than 30 years. I can't say enough good things about him. He is a very caring and competitant professional. He has helped me many times with issues that have occurred over the years. I can't thank him enough!

I'm so happy that Dr.Mohr is my doctor. He is taking his time with his patients, he always have a positive conversation, he is knowledgeable, he is old school doctor, unfortunately not many doctors are like him.

Dr. Mohr is such a wonderful doctor! He takes his time to explain things and address your concerns!! Love him!

Been with Dr Mohr for over 28 years-he is the best!! Calming, caring and spends time with each patient so get first appt or you will wait as he does spend the time with you that you need. Cant imagine going to anyone else.

Let me just say that this is an update to my review from 2013. When I first went to Dr. Mohr I came off being on the pill for 13 years and after my cycles regulated I mentioned my concern that my period was now coming on Day 25 all the time rather than Day 30 as it had always been before the pill. I was 31 at the time. He dismissed this as just being a normal thing that happens with age. I then got pregnant rather quickly and miscarried at 8 weeks. We were told this was common (and it can be) and that most couples go on to have perfectly healthy pregnancies the next time. After taking some time to grieve our loss I again got pregnant without difficulty. My baby was born with Kleefstra syndrome and passed away in my arms at 6 weeks old; I switched doctors when he spoiled the gender on us at 24 weeks with no apology, among other mistakes listed in my earlier review. After my son was born we waited the required year try again so we could try to do a VBAC and had genetic testing to… confirm we were not a carrier of KS. I again got pregnant quickly and miscarried (chemical pregnancy) at 6 weeks. After this I thought perhaps something was not right and we had additional testing. At that time (34) I was diagnosed with a diminished ovarian reserve with an AMH of .17 and and FSH of 14.3...with such a low AMH I am surprised I was even getting pregnant. The doctors said with DOR quantity and often quality of eggs is impacted; my ovaries were responding the way a woman in her 40's would, and much like a woman in her 40's has a greater risk of miscarriages due to chromosomal abnormalities, so do I b/c of the DOR. We tried IVF and after two failed cycles (ovaries barely responded) insurance ran out and we were back to trying on our own again. I then miscarried two more times after that, 7 weeks with a blighted ovum and 11 weeks (baby stopped growing at 9 weeks) with Turner's syndrome. I am down right angry...FURIOUS, that Dr. Mohr dismissed me when I told him my cycle was so much shorter as this was an indication of DOR, especially when I then miscarried. He never once tested my FSH or AMH to see if there was a reason for the shorter cycle. He wasted precious time for me. We continue to try, but we never know if we will get to be parents again, and parents to a healthy child. If he had listened to me back in 2011 when I told him my concerns maybe we could have gone to IVF right away and had success at 31 years old, maybe not, I will never know because of the way he just dismissed me and told me was shorter cycle was normal. I regret ever going to him. BIG MISTAKE.

Dr. Mohr is the best doctor In the world!! I moved back from FL so he could deliver my baby. I called him from FL with all my questions and concerns and we always took the time to talk to me. I now live in NY and will travel to his office for my second baby. He is absolutely the best doctor. He returns calls immediatley and spends as much time with you as needed. His staff is very great and accommodating as well. I will be a life long pacient of him and refere all my friends and family to him. We love Dr.Mohr !!!

- Provided me with inaccurate test results - stated I was a carrier for CF when I'm not, I'm a carrier for SMA - Failed to give me the Rhogam injection when I miscarried my first pregnancy at 8 weeks (I am O- and my husband is O+) - Horrible bedside manner (at least towards the husbands); barely acknowledged my husband being in the room with me at every single appointment - Spoiled the gender of our baby despite us telling him for 24 weeks we wanted it to be a surprise

Dr. Mohr removed information he wrote in my chart when it was known he had made a misdiagnosis. Denied ever giving me the diagnosis.

Dr. Mohr is one of the most patient and caring doctors I have ever had. Although I live in Connecticut, I go to NJ to see him. If you are anxious about being at the doctors, he will immediately calm your nerves and make you feel comfortable. Dr. Mohr is extremely professional and really knows his stuff! Also, he gets back to you ASAP! I would never go to anyone else...

Dr. Mohr is an excellent doctor, who really takes the time to listen to his patients. He goes out of his way to check on his patients even on his days off. He truly is the best OBGYN in NJ. Thank you Dr. Mohr for all you do!!
