Dr. Robert Walter Hamm, MD

The worst psychiatrist I have ever dealt with. He will nickel and dime you. That's all he cares about. He charges you $300 when you have your 5 minute appointment with him on the phone. I had an appointment with him on a Friday at 8:30am. I texted on Weds morning stating that I will no longer be needing his services. He calls me on Thursday at 9:07am to remind me that we have an appointment on Friday at 8:30am. I told him I texted him on Weds and I'm going a different route. He said he never got it. I find that hard to believe because we have communicated via text many times. I explained to him that I will no longer be needing his services. He said no problem and wished me luck. As soon as I get off the phone noticed my credit card was charged $75. I immediately called him back and asked him what that charge is for? He said it is a cancellation charge. He says since he never received my text and I didn't call him within 24 hours I'm going to be charged the $75 cancellation fee.

I felt comfortable speaking with Dr. Hamm. He showed understanding and empathy with a great deal of insight.He changed my medication and now I find my life much improved. I would recommend Dr. Hamm to anyone seeking professional psychiatric help.
