Dr. Robert Hart Prasse II, MD

Dr. Prasse is among t he most knowledgeable and compassionate doctors that we have had the opportunity and pleasure to know. He is able to take the time and use his extensive training and experience to diagnose complicated and potentially life threatening issues. We feel truly blessed to have him as our care giver.

I certainly feel blessed to have Dr. Prasse and his staff caring for my mother. There is a lot going on in my life, but worrying about my mother receiving excellent medical care isn't a problem! Thank you Dr. Prasse & Stephanie for always being there!

Dr. Prasse and his staff are unbelievably kind and helpful. I can see when I am in the office people ask a LOT of Dr. Prasse, his nurse and receptionist. When I say a LOT, I do not mean normal duties of your PCP. People are always interested making in more, extra, over the top requests of this office, and yet they take in in stride. I feel his patient's should take more time to say THANK YOU TO DR. PRASSE & HIS WONDERFUL STAFF, and less time making outlandish demands as if they were the only patient in the practice!

I wanted to thank Dr. Prasse and his wonderful staff for the excellent care he gave my mother. It is a rae gift to come across a practice as caring as this one. Thank You Dr. Prasse & Stephanie!

I have a BIG problem with reviewers who have never seen our wonderful Dr. Prasad leaving negative reviews about him or his staff. Dr. Prasse has had a little turn over with nurses lately with one retiring and another moving, but one thing that has remained a constant is his lovely, hard working and I am sure quite busy office manager Super Stephanie. People who call with a question "are you taking new patients" who are then told "no we are not" and then get angry and write hurtful and negative reviews are not helpful in the grand scheme. Please do not let negative reviews from uninformed people away your opinion of this practice. Dr. Prasse is an extremely knowledgable, kind, empathic doctor. He sees his patients much more regularly than most doctors. He spends as much time as we, the family needs. He answers any and all questions with a level understanding that can't be matched. He provides such a marvelous service caring for the elderly way he does. Stephanie has… worked with him for a few years. I have never found her anything more than accommodating, warmhearted & helpful. She is a very busy girl, seeing she runs most aspects of the office but always has time to answer my questions, brainstorm ideas or just listen to me vent. I think people are very unfair speaking to her for a matter of minutes then taking to the anonymity of keyboard to condemn her for not giving them the answers they want. Hang in there Stephanie, the people who Know you and work with you often Know you are kind & hard working. Please don't let people who have no idea and no backbone make you feel bad! The Country Doctor wouldn't be the same without you! We love you BOTH!

I'm new to the area, have been considering using a concierge practice, and saw Dr. Prasse was in the neighborhood. I went in to inquire about becoming a patient and before I could even finish the question, was cut off and told that new patients were not being accepted. An information package was shoved into my hands and I was told to call back to see when they might be accepting new patients. I was clearly an unwanted intrusion in little Cindy Lou Who's day. (I have no idea what her name was since an introduction or an exchange of pleasantries was out of the question.) I would gladly pay Dr,. Prasse's $1,250 annual fee for excellent care and a support staff who treated me with some semblance of kindness and professionalism. That did not happen here. At this point, the only way I would consider becoming a patient at this practice is if they offered to pay me the $1,250 to do so. Actually, no. No, I wouldn't...not even for a million dollars would I subject myself to that.

We love our "Country Doctor" , he is a charming, concerned, emphatic doctor. I know I can always count on him. He saw both of my parents in their home, and that really takes a weight off our family. When either of my parents were in the hospital, he kept up updated during his visit or with phone calls. He takes wonderful care of my father and my mother before her passing. I have spoken with Stephanie many times and always found her helpful, knowledgeable and a pleasant girl. Even the tone of her voice is friendly an welcoming whenever I call. The previous reviewer�s complaint about being placed on hold? I have been placed on hold, but Stephanie always apologizes for the wait. I understand she is the only person in the office, so she often has multiple irons in the fire. As far as the question, �what people are supposed to do� and her response? I am convinced IF Stephanie responded in this manner, it was in more of a teasing style rather then an unprofessional fashion.

I am new in this area and looking for a new physician. But, I am sorry to say that when I called his office wanting to get an appointment with Dr. Prasse as he came highly recommended the staff was less than charming. When I called, not only was I put on hold for a long time before I could even ask a question, but when I was told that he did not take new patients and ask what people are supposed to do (no one in this area takes new patients), she person who answered the call told me: "I don't know, why don't you ask some of the other doctors you've called." then she hung up on me. Very UNPROFESSIONAL. She needs to be reprimended (sp?).
