Amazing experience. I went to see Dr. Friedman panicked because i could not see. First he calmed me down, spent an eternity explaining to me what wrong (that is because I required an eternity to calm down and listen) and then ... FIXED IT! I can see better than ever far away AND I can read without glasses which I could not do previously If you have any eye issues, I recommend Dr. Friedman whole-heartedly

I've been a patient of Dr. Friedman for a few years now. He's helped me with eye problems large (surgery) and small (new contacts). Whenever I meet with him I'm consistently impressed by his intellect and expertise, which is important when you're basically putting your sight in another person's hands. I'm also blown away by how accessible he makes himself. I've called him with problems (real and imagined) at all hours of the day and night, not to mention weekends. He always answers or promptly returns my call and never comes off as rushed. The personalized, almost concierge-like service I receive from him is unparalleled. I wish more doctor's took a page from his book. In the meantime, I'll stay loyal to Dr. Friedman.

This office was clearly the worst medical related experience I have had. The staff is cold and rude, I was kept waiting for almost an hour after arriving on time, but the worst part was Dr. Friedman collecting more than once for the same service. I actually had to return to the office a second time after I was told that a bill for refraction would be credited, yet I received another bill from the Doctors office for the same charge within two weeks of being told the charge for refraction would be credited. I really cannot believe or accept any lame excuses for Dr. Friedman billing me twice when I am sitting here and reading the fact that Dr. Freidman was paid for my visit but still submitted the charge a second time.

I HAVE JUST COME FROM AN EYE EXAM AS I HAVE BEEN HAVING SOME VISION PROBLEMS. 19 YEARS AGO DR FRIEDMAN PERFORMED CORRECTIVE EYE SURGERY ON BOTH MY EYES AND I STILL HAVE PERFECT VISION. A NEW ISSUE HAS CROPPED UP AND I AM DEBATING IF I SHOULD TRAVEL TO NYC FROM IRELAND TO HAVE HIM DO THE WORK. I CAN SEE FROM THE REVIEWS THAT HE HAS NOT LOST HIS TOUCH, NOR, WISELY HIS APPRECIATION FOR MONEY.

Dr. Friedman has been my family's ophthalmologist for almost 20 years. He has operated on my son's, mother's, aunt's and myself's eyes with amazing results. Do you have to pay a lot? Absolutely! But would you rather pay less and have bad results after an eye operation? I have highly recommended him to friends of mine and will continue to do so. My only hope is that he won't retire anytime soon! He is not prompt because they overbook. It's not his fault though. It's the staff's. I always expect to wait a good 30 minutes to be seen by him. If you've been operated on, he'll follow up on you. If it's a regular visit, there's no reason to do so, obviously. His previous office staff was amazing.

I have been going to him for years. Even came back to see him when I was stationed in Europe for seven years. Operated on my cataracts recently and I am seeing like a 20 year old!

Nice office. Nice staff. Spent about 30 minutes being dilated and having my vision checked by junior doctors and about 5 minutes with Dr. Friedman who spouted a lot of information about my condition from a textbook but very little about what is actually going on in my eyes as an individual patient. Absolutely ridiculous to spend over 500 dollars in a factory line and see the boss on the way out. I saw him for a second opinion and realized how much better it was with my usual ophthalmologist.

He is an exccellent doctor. however, the office does not take any insurance, they have ridiculous rates AND is uncooperative about working with insurance companies when seeking reimbursement.

The man is brilliant! That should be enough, but he is nice and funny as well. I had a wonderful experience. I know that I have cataracts and frankly, I am terrified. Dr. Friedman sat with me, explained to me what cataracts are, drew me pictures, and even explained that they have lenses that can make me not rely so much on glasses. Think of that...the thing I fear the most can actually make my life so much better. But, more than anything else, it was his manner. He is smart, nice and sincere. I do not want to push it, but I am actually looking forward to my surgery.
