I have been a patient of Dr. Robert Shalvoy’s for over 20 years. I had 2 left knee surgeries from injuries and shoulder surgery. Dr. Shalvoy is a great doctor, very professional, who knows what he is doing. I am having him do my right knee surgery from an injury as well. I highly recommend Dr. Robert Shalvoy!

My rotator cuff repair was not good. 4 years later and I have chronic pain and weakness. It was never right and I have 2 awful scars and have developed bone spurs. Another surgery is Imminent for me. Very disheartening.

I have been a patient of Dr. Shalvoy's for over 20 years. He is the epitome of professional, kind and humble. When other doctors (including some in Boston) refused to replace my knee, citing I was "too young and overweight", Dr. Shalvoy didn't hesitate and did a FANTASTIC job!!! I am 7 months post-op and THRILLED to have my life back--COMPLETELY pain-free!!!!! He and his team (shout out to Rich, Jess and the office staff) are easy to talk to and get questions answered. They listen and really put their patients at ease. I have NEVER been disappointed with his expertise, medical advice or bedside manner and cannot wait to have my other knee replaced!! I have seen Dr.Shalvoy for over 20 years for various surgeries that i required. He has done rotator cuff surgery as well as reattaching both of my major pectoral muscles. He has done knee surgery as well,taking care of a meniscus problem i have had. He has kept me able to play softball thru these surgeries which i have played my entire life. I believe he will be doing a full knee replacement on me in the near future. I am 69 and do not want to give up my life style and Dr.Shalvoy has played a large role in making that possible.

I have had two occasions to have surgery with Dr. Shalvoy... both were due to injuries... one on the right ankle and one on the left. The left ankle was about 10 years ago, the right ankle was last year around Thanksgiving. The injuries were serious ones (for example, the right ankle was a stage 4 fracture with dislocation)... In both cases, Dr. Shalvoy and his team (including the Physical Therapists) did an outstanding job. Less than three months post-op I was able to drive all day, attend a convention on my feet presenting for hours and drive home the next day, I can walk 10 to 12 miles non-stop at this time. I can stand for many hours. No complications. Highly recommended.
