Robin Dempsey Matthews, MD

I regret allowing this person to perform surgery on me. TWO years later and I'm still suffering. My insurance company did their own investigation of this "doctor" at my request and they have the results of it on file. Please contact them for more information. My experience with this doctor was and is horrendous. The short of it is that I was made part of a pharmaceutical trial without my knowledge. The device that was used on me in 2017 (Minerva) is no longer available. I requested Novasure for my endometiral ablation and was refused by Dr Matthews. I knew then (in my heart) that I shouldn't go through with this doctor and this surgery, but did anyway because I was so deserate for some relief of my symptoms. I'm worse off now 2 years later than I was prior to the surgery. I pray karma catches up with Robin Matthews. Stay away from this "doctor."

Perforated my bladder, punctured my small colon. After I survived her errors, she told me "I didn't do it maliciously" WHAT! Get her away from surgery.

Robin Matthews is a very compassionate physician. She takes the time to understand your problems, and takes the necessary steps to make sure that you are well taken care of. She performed surgery on me and I have the utmost respect for her. I would not hesitate to recommend her to my family and friends, and I have. I worked for physicians for 10 years in Florida, so have had a lot of experience with doctors, and she is one of the kindest and most compassionate doctors I have ever met.

If you're healthy, I'm sure you'd be happy Dr. Matthews. Should any serious issues arise SEEK A SECOND OPINION! If I weren't the person I am, I would take legal action. However, I take responsibilty for selecting and working with Dr. Matthews. I NEVER felt comfortable with her. I should have listened to my insticts.

AS A MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL MYSELF, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HER. HER STAFF WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL, POLITE AND EFFICIENT. DR MATTHEWS WAS VERY NICE TO WORK WITH. SHE ORDERED ONLY WHAT WAS NECESSARY AND ADDRESSED MY CONCERNS CLEARLY AND WITHOUT DISTRACTION.
