Dr. Romeo L. Isidro, MD

He has a very professional demeanor yet does not come across intimidating. He has a soothing sense of humor and psychiatric sessions can be difficult, unless you are enameled by I professional, saying the right thing at the exact Time. Highly, highly recommend him

HORRIBLE!! Was okay until I wanted to switch medications since the once he had me on was not working any more- then suddenly he never returned my several phone calls to try to make a new appointment, forcing me to quit my meds cold turkey since I had no refills left (which is a horrible thing if you're on psych meds, can cause permanent damage, and is EXTREMELY painful). Now I just got a huge bill out of the blue saying this was my final warning to pay before they took legal action.... when they've never called me or mailed me before! Disgusting doctor, disgusting office, caused me months of horrible withdrawals and pain. Would not recommend this vile place to anyone. Save yourself the pain.

I have been seeing Dr. Isidro for approximately 20 years. He is a very kind, caring, and knowledgable doctor. He has gotten me through the absolute worst of times. I would have been hospitalized were it not for Dr. Isidro. I cannot tell you how many times I have called in a panic and left a message on his urgent line and he called me back almost immediately. I like Dr. Isidro so much, that when I moved, I now drive approximately 40 miles one way to see him. I couldn't imagine not having him for my doctor. Excellent, excellent doctor. I would recommend him to everyone.

Dr. Isidro spent a good amount of time with my daughter, responded to her and my questions, and never made us feel as if he were rushing us out. The first time we were there, we did have to wait over one hour, which is unacceptable; the subsequent visits have had a shorter waiting time, closer to 20-30 minutes, which still isn't great but isn't ridiculous, either. The one major caveat with him is his office staff. They never, and I mean NEVER, answer the phone, nor do they ever return a call once you leave a message. I've experienced this firsthand, and am still waiting for them to return my repeated calls from almost three months ago (it's a billing issue, so if they don't want to be paid, that's fine with me). When I was in the waiting room that first visit, I repeatedly heard the phone ring and saw them ignore it. I've never seen any doctor's staff just refuse to answer the phone, and honestly, they weren't all that busy. I don't understand why good doctors would choose such… horrendous staff. Either they are the problem, or if this is office policy, then the doctors are the problem. We'll likely be searching for a new doctor because of this. Doctors, WAKE UP!

poor rating..does not spend enough time with patient,seems to not care or pay attention to my problem,becomes aggrevaied at times ,frequently pushes new psychotropics on patients,would not recommend ,i am dissatisfied , not a well trained or experienced psychiatrist

I have been a patient of Dr. Isidro's for approximately 10-11 years. He is wonderful, caring and patient and has helped me more than anyone in my life. I can't imagine what would happen to me if I ever had to stop seeing him. I appreciate him more than words can express.

He is not caring and tries to diagnose in a short period of time and pushes medications. He clearly seems ignorant of mental problems his patients have. Don't expect any knowledge of psychotherapy. Even with medications he is just going through the motions. You tell him you don't do well on a medication and he just prescribes another one from the same class of drug. And he'll give you samples of new drugs of which he has no experience. I felt so much worse off after under going treatment with this 'doctor'. I rate him POOR.

Never had an issue with Dr Romeo Isidro. Highly recommended to others. Need to see for yourself.

Excellent Psychiatrist

HE IS EXCELLENT NOT ONLY WITH DIAGNOSIS BUT HE IS SO VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE IN REGARDS TO MEDICINES AND THE INTERACTIONS. HE ALSO RETURNS CALLS IF THERE IS AN EMERGENCY. THE WAITING TIME IS LONG AT TIMES AS HE IS VERY BUSY AND TAKES CARE OF EMERGENCIE WHEVEVER NEEDED
