Dr. Ronald Eugene Wilson, MD

Dr. Wilson is the only doctor who would listen and understand my symptoms. He is very knowledgeable and caring about his patients. I’ve been his patient for 22 years and feel like family. His nurse has always been caring and supportive she also feels like family. Never have I felt this much care before. Thank you Dr. Wilson and Wendy.

One of the weirder and worst experiences I’ve had at a doctor’s office. He was incredibly rude and dismissive during the 10 minutes I was there as an annual to refill my migraine medication. He told me it interferes with my birth control (I know I’ve been taking it for years and don’t want kids) and then asked me to consider another option since I might regret an abortion. I was dumbfounded and just asked for my medication to help me instead of a fake unborn baby that will never exist. So weird and so unprofessional.

Doctor was a professional and years experience reflect in my treatment. Top Notch!

He would not even sit down and let me explain why I was there. He just set me up for two different types of imaging. I was trying to schedule them but before I could set the appointment I received a bill for over $1,000 from him for an office visit and the reading of the imaging; which I had not even had done yet.

Dr. W. has been my neurologist for 20 years. He is very kind and understanding, as well as his staff. I couldn't ask for a better doctor.

Dr. Wilson is probably the most thorough physician I've ever seen. He has a wonderful bedside manner, fields all of my questions and is beyond patient trying to find out what is causing my pain and how to alleviate it. I would recommend him to anyone. He and his staff are amazing.

I am a psychiatric RN who was attacked by a patient, leaving me with some extensive injuries- one being cervical (brainstem) and ongoing, relentless head pain, along with musculoskeletal injuries. Dr. Wilson has been nothing outside of amazing while working with my injuries. He has a patient bedside manner and is truly caring and compassionate with me. I felt like there was no end in sight until I began to see him and though I'm still struggling extensively with pain I know that I'm in the most capable hands in TN. I would never hesitate to recommend this neurologist to anyone. He's truly an amazing physician and his office staff is amazing as well.

This man was rude & dismissive. He would ask me questions & then interrupt me while I was trying to answer. He wouldn't listen to me. Worst of all he offered no help what so ever & actually asked me what he was supposed to do. He never once hit on any point of topic from the referral that my PC had sent to him. He didn't look at any of the lab work, imaging, or past medical history that I brought in with me. He even told me that I was making up facts & statistics that I quoted him from my extensive research on my conditions. He is stuck in the Stone Age & his information is out dated. If you don't fit in the text book cookie cutter mode, then this man will be a waste of time. He actually told me that my only problem was that I was suffering from anxiety. I was sent to him for further testing for possibly having MS. He wouldn't even hear of doing nerve conduction studies or any other test that might show the reasons for all of my neurological issues. I have Chiari Malformation &… have had decompression surgery as well as a laminectomy on my C1 vertebrae which could also be the cause of some of my issues, but he dismissed this condition as if it were nothing. Basically I wasted my time, effort, & money by seeing him. He treated me like I was crazy.

He is a very knowledge doctor concerning Parkinson's. He has done extra studies including time at the London Parkinson's facility and regularly participating in Vanderbilt studies. And his assistant Wendy is awesome. I feel comfortable talking to him and never feel rushed.
