Roya Ghafouri, MD

Dr Ghafouri is very slow to respond to patient needs. When she says she will do something she does not follow through. For example, when she said she would send over a RX to my pharmacy right away, it actually was sent 8 hours later. Meanwhile, I suffered with painful symptoms all day. She only works 2 days (Mondays and Fridays) at the Santa Monica location so if you leave a message for her it can 3 or 4 days before she sees it. Her English skills in emailing are very poor. So poor as to be unintelligible. I would not recommend Dr Ghafouri. I would find a physician who shows more concern for the patient's wellbeing rather than her own convenience.

I recently had an upper eyelid procedure completed by Dr Ghafouri and I couldn't be happier with my results. I was very impressed with her skill, bedside manner and her staff. Thank you Dr. Ghafouri!!

Dr. Ghafouri was patient , and listened to everything I had to say. She showed a thoughtful and caring attitude.my surgery on my eyes was carried out in a timely and efficient manner. After a week post op, I can say they whole experience was painless and very worthwhile. No complications have occurred and the results are amazing. I would go to her again and recommend her to anyone.

Dr. Ghafouri is the most dedicated and caring physician I have ever had. She was highly recomended by a colleugue, and has completely exceeded my expectations. It was her skilled hands that gave me a beautiful surgical outcome, but her wonderful bedside manner was what kept me at ease through a difficult time. Dr. Ghafouri is truly amazing.
