Dr. Sam Sunghyun Yoon, MD

I was turned down surgery for my abdominal surgery at MSKCC and DFCI. Dr. Yoon had me get proton radiation and then resected my tumor with the help of one of the vascular surgeons. The surgery took 12 hours. Now I’m cancer free and feel great, thanks to Dr. Yoon.

For my retroperitoneal sarcoma, Dr. Yoon treated me with preop proton beam radiation and a big surgery. Sloan Kettering just recommended surgery. Dr. Yoon showed me his studies, which have a much lower recurrence rate with his strategy. He did a great job with my surgery and I'm confident the tumor won't grow back.
