Dr. Sanford Fitzig, MD

My 81 yr old Grandmother is a patient of Dr. Fitzig. He preformed a surgical procedure for her incontinence (a mesh sling for the bladder). She has had many complications (3 post-op ER visits, etc) and much unnecessary pain. He of course was out of town after the surgery, which has complicated follow-up visits. When asked about other recommendations for her issues regarding emptying of the bladder (ie. pelvic floor exercises, etc), he acted as if this way the only remedy.

Dr Fitzig is the best Urologist in Wichita hands down. After being wrongly diagnosed by other prominent Urologist in town with no luck treating my condition, I went and saw Dr Fitzig and he was able to properly diagnose me and get me on the right meds to manage my condition. Highly recommend Dr Fitzig , he's a great guy and has a friendly staff!

Dr. Fitzig spent five minutes with me and told me to leave when he got a phone call. Be told me what he thought I had and simply gave me a sheet to research on my own what the issue was. Acted as if he only cared about getting me in and out. He just wanted to bill me and didn't care about helping new. He is, in short, an awful, cold, uncaring person that I would NEVER go see again. Performed a procedure and the left immediately after to leave me wondering how I really was. Do not see this doctor.
