Dr. Scott Warren Biest, MD

Dr. Biest is a wonderful doctor. He is courteous, answers all your questions, and most importantly, is a knowledgeable and skilled physician.

Dr Biest was rude and disrespectful during my appointment. He was late and would not listen to my problem. He only seemed concerned about whether or not I could pay for my surgery. He even recommended that I be seen by his residents / teaching clinic because he felt I didn’t have the right insurance

I can’t say enough good about this guy. I told him I was going to become a member of his high-five club on the internet so that’s exactly what I’m doing. I highly recommend Dr Biest for his ability as a surgeon and his bedside manner. After previous unsatisfactory gynecology experiences, I feel so blessed I found Dr Biest on the internet he was definitely the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.

Surprises during my annual well woman led to an unexpected hysterectomy. My nursing friends stated that hands down this is the absolute best surgeon in St. Louis to do this surgery. I'm 3 weeks post op and feel great. His bedside manner is a bit dry...but I don't need a bestie, I need the best surgeon.

He was very nice, very concerned and showed my health mattered.. T think he's an excellent doctor.

You will not find a more compassionate, caring, thoughtful doctor. He was amazing with my prenatal care and my delivery. He even stayed in the delivery room for a while after my baby was born. Such a wonderful man!

I chose Dr. Biest because he was known as the best OB doctor in St. Louis. Boy was I wrong. He and his staff didn't notice my water was broken FOR A WEEK despite me calling them every day and even visiting the office twice! Then instead of delivering my baby that moment, he made us wait until the next day because it was late at night. Daytime obstetrics- look it up- classic case here. Bottom line, look elsewhere.

He was very understanding with me wanting only him delivering my children. Since he was the only doctor I had seen. Christmas eve of 01 he left his home to keep the promise, that I would not have to deliver my first child with a strange doctor I didn't know. That was the best feeling to know I had a doctor I could trust. He also delivered my boy the following year. Complications caused me to have to get a c- section, and a young doctor thought I would actually allow him to cut me. After screaming for them to call my doctor, they finally did, after trying to convince me that he wouldn't .

I moved to St Louis a year ago and when I became pregnant with my second baby and found Dr Scott Biest and my experience with him was wonderful! I was saddend to find out that he is leaving his practice and no longer gonna deliver babies!! He was a rare find! He was was the best OBGYN that i have ever had!!
