Dr. Sharon Molinas, MD

When my daughter was diagnosed with colon-rectal cancer I was advised to get checked out also. After some research I chose Dr. Molinas, who demonstrated compassion and understanding. She was very kind and gentle in helping me deal with the stress of my daughter's illness and in guiding me through my first ever colonoscopy. I have been going to her since 2007. She is patient in explaining procedures, medications, my medical issues and my fears. A good doctor and a nice lady. Lucky me.

I have been a patient of Dr. Molinas for 5 years. Recently, I needed to ask her a question regarding my current treatment on the phone. It took her two weeks to get back to me. When she did, she yelled at me that I should have made an appointment, and not consulted on the phone with her. Her tone and attitude were completely unprofessional. In person, she is amiable and professional, but this is the second time on the phone that she has been rude. I will take my file and go elsewhere. Is she so desperate for an office visit bill?

I have been in Dr. Molinas' care for at least 10 years and have always found her to be thoughtful, caring and very willing to spend time with me. If she is a little late in meeting with me sometimes, she always apologizes. I figure she has been taking the same care with the patient before me. She is always willing to work with me on alternative treatments in attempting to get optimal results. A very fine doctor.
