Dr. Sohal Krishnvadan Patel

I was admitted into sherman hospital with left sided horrid headach and left eye drooping and blurred vision. Mr Patel came into my room with a huge attitude and rude. He found nothing wrong on my MRI, labeled me a drug seeker, yes my family overheard you and nurse gigi talking about Mr, he also put this in my patient portal without consulting my MD, without reviewing my medical records or my pharmaceutical history. Not sure how I can fake my eye drooping.. Do not beg for pain medicine if in severe pain! He told me there was nothing he could do for me, spent maybe 15 minutes with me the entire hospitalization. We left going to another facility as we knew something was very wrong, this neurologist spent hours with us and found the problem in my brain stem. Got me on the appropriate treatment and I did get better. Sherman said they did an investigation and informed me he had additional education. I'm not sure I believe this.

He prescribed a medication for a specific disease that not only can make it worse, but cause life threatening complications.

Amazing smart doctor. A few months ago, My mother was debilitated in the ICU, doctors didn't know why, and Dr. Patel came in, talked to us, examined her, and figured out the problem in minutes! He got her on treatment, and now my mother is walking again! He changed everything. I read these other negative reviews online of this doctor - don't believe them! He's respectful, makes things easy to understand, and smarter than most people.

He listened to me, answered my questions, and had comfortable bedside manner. Explained complicated things in a way I understood.

I had a consult with this doctor at the hospital, he seemed annoyed that he was asked to see me, horrible bed side manner, dismissed me very quickly like I was some burden to him. Doesn't seem to like people. Sorry to have disturbed whatever you were doing dr. Patel. Rest assured I will never visit you again or refer anyone else to you.

I always search and look for reviews on a Dr when necessary. Today as I sit and search while in the hospital with my mom she was refered to Dr Sohal Patel for a neurological consult. I read these previous reviews and panicked. I briefly spoke to her nurse about him and my findings. She was helpful with easing my fears. I met with Dr Sohal Patel and he examined my mom. Ordered a test and explained his next course of action. I do not have any negative feedback as of now. I will follow up on here again. I'm just hoping that my review will ease anyone else in my situation as each is unique. My rating is a 4 as of now.

TERRIBLE. No bedside manner and to make it worse - no knowledge of what the heck he is doing. If he was a brilliant genius at what he does, I would care less about his bedside manner. Very rushed and talked over the patient. Seemed annoyed to be even talking with our family. Did not even introduce himself - just barged into our room and started barking orders at the patient. Left the family feeling very uncomfortable and unsure about the quality of care. Lots of questions.

If I could give negative stars I would. Dr. Sohal Patel should not be allowed to work with people. My experience with him was in a hospital in an emergency situation for my husband and we were unable to get another doctor because he was the only one available in the ICU. He is extremely unprofessional, rude, lacks all knowledge required in a doctor, makes guesses instead of actual diagnosis' and is unable to communicate. He orders tests to be done without reason or explanation and is incapable of answering questions about why. I have never had such an awful experience with a doctor and am appalled that there are doctors like this.
