Dr. Sonal Subhash Mehta, MD

We had a great experience with Dr. Mehta - was seeing her with my mother who is 85 yrs old. Dr. Mehta was patient, a great listener, compassionate and came across as a knowledgeable professional. Spent a lot of time directly listening to my mother about her medical history, lifestyle and health concerns, asking a number of questions and answering all of her questions. She was extremely attentive and took a lot of time with us. I was also impressed by her wonderful bedside manner and cheerful and reassuring disposition and practical advice

Dr Mehta (substitute) is inept Being misdiagnosed, went to Emerency had serious blood infection if untreated can cause death. She ignored my symptoms

My elderly mother went to see this doctor and told me she never met such an uncaring woman. I called to see what she was talking about. I was shocked at the way Dr. Mehta talked to me . She was unsympathetic about the death of my father and my moms husband a year ago. She told me my mom had psychological issues and when i asked what she meant she said well she is nervous around me and talks fast. huh? Honestly when i talked to dr mehta i too felt anxious and upset. The woman should not be a geriatric doctor. We asked for a change of doctors which the center refused. I will not take my mom to a compassionate dr. at Mt. Sinai. If someone has a closed heart they should not be a healer. Healer heal thyself.
